BBL, that scarf is AWESOME. Design, colors, everything. And deserved. I love the self-referential Hermes designs. They are somehow cheeky. Women with H bags and scarves on a woman's H scarf. Perhaps tied to her H bag. I love that.

Got all the way to voir dire today on jury duty before finding out that one of the potential witnesses is a physician of whom I've been a patient. Was actually mildly disappointed, as the case (malpractice) sounded very interesting--but extremely distressing, too. Of course we were given very few facts, but it is not all that difficult to assume some of the details that would be involved given the specialties of the physicians on the witness lists and the nature of the plaintiff and defendants. It's gonna be a tough one, factually and emotionally. I will have to see if I can find out how it is eventually decided, now that I have a minor "personal" interest.
Have been reading all day and am now in an odd state in which my real life somehow feels tenuous and the fictive universe I've been inhabiting seems the more tangible. Cue Twilight Zone theme music.

They'll probably settle it before it gets to opening arguments. Jury selection is usually a giant game of chicken between the opposing parties.
