Happy Valentine's Day to you, too, A-T-G!! And, DH thanks you for the vibes. I hope this is the last one for a long, long time. But, you know, he just turned, stomp the floor six times, 0. I just cannot say the number. Imagine how he is feeling. Poor baby.

Thanks for asking. He feels fine. I know he is nervous about the appointment, though. And, DS called to let us know that he lost his wallet. Two of my credit cards plus his driver's license (from out of state, needs a new one anyway) He thinks he left it at a bar, but he won't know to panic until 3 when someone comes to the bar to work.
Am I more upset about the wallet?
Or my son at a bar?
Am I not a Jewish mother?
Well, he is from a mixed marriage.

Well, DS does carry a backpack. Always has it, with his essentials. And, because he is so thrifty, his wallet is made out of indestructible material.
Do you, by any chance, remember 8 inch floppy disks? The covers they used were made of mylar based paper. This wallet is made from those old covers. The disks probably held about less than a mb.

Yes, I should present him with a very used and loved H man bag.
In the meantime, I need to be able to get someone to schlep him to the DMV,in the very least nice section of town to get a license, since he has an out-of-state license. Why.Why.Why. He is still my loopy little son who needs Mom.
I like that.
Off to the Acura place to replace the tires on the car he is driving to Vermont. Unbelievably, the dealership has the best prices on Michelins in town. DF is taking us out for DH's birthday lunch while we wait. So, it's a nice sushi lunch while baby gets new shoes!
Oy is right.

BBL, when it rains it pours, huh? Fingers crossed that DS's wallet is at the bar. What a pain to have to deal with missing credit cards. Still sending vibes for DH. Eye problems scare the bejeebies out of me.

I got the official OK from the boss to be off, so mini-WOW is ON! Gonna book ASAP before my good luck runs out and airfare goes ppffttt...
