Vibes for Magic~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I bet rest will help, especially if she's better this AM.

Thanks, OB! I really hope rest does the trick. The first time (assuming these are even remotely the same issue), she wouldn't walk without crying and couldn't/wouldn't put her head down to sleep. This time it's "just" a limp and she held her leg up when standing for a few minutes (begging for food while we ate dinner). She's still quite willing to do stairs and jump on and off the bed.
Sure wish our pups could talk!

Or maybe not...:p "You want me to do what where???? I don't' THINK so!"

Hellooooo!!

Could I ask for some vibes for Magic? She started limping last night, favoring one of the front legs. About two years ago she had shoulder pain that made it difficult to wak and it may have been the same side. We never did figure out what it was, despite 2 visits to the emergency vet, lots of manipulation and a few x rays. She got some muscle relaxers that she took for a day or two and we never had a problem after that.

This time does not seem nearly as bothersome for her and she was less gimpy this morning, with just a very slight limp. I'm hoping that resting today will get her back to 100%.

sending some puppy love from my papillion and some stinky old lady love from my deaf, blind and somewhat senile ****szu.
if you can restrict her from exerting herself that would likely help too.

Magic vibes: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If she's still jumping on furniture and eating, I'd guess she isn't in too much distress. But I surely know how it is to have a pet that's less than 100%! Get better, Magic!

Yay Winky!!

So, peeps, being home bound by this "arctic blast" of 1/2 inch snow has become dangerous for me. I've replaced online shopping (trying to be good) with baking. Made bread yesterday and promptly ate almost a whole small loaf; just made cranberry orange scones and polished off two of them. I'll be five pounds heavier by the time it hits 60 degrees tomorrow.

Hooray for Winky!! What's for his dinner tonight? Shabbos chicken? LOL!!!

ck, is it possible that Magic stepped in some deicing salt or pellets? That can really burn their little feet and make them limp.
Our dogs sometime scare themselves by tripping and hurting themselves, get a little limp and them after lots of loving and fussing they (please excuse the pun) magically get better!!
I hope she gets better. My poor Horatio had bad hips and when we tried to give him any NSAID, his relief was remarkable. The downside, he couldn't tolerate the medication, poor baby.
