Restricter, so sorry you have a migraine, hope it breaks soon. 3-4 advil and a cup of coffee usually does it for me.

Thanks for the size comparison. I actually went into the boutique last week and got to play with all the single Alhambras. I really liked the Sweet more than I thought I would! I was afraid it would be too teeny so I wanted to try it on to be sure. And I tried (or I had tried on me, LOL) both the Vintage and the Sweet at the same time and I could see me wearing both. Especially when my SA said she has clients who get the MOP Sweet and wear it with the onyx Vintage! I know I'll never have a 10 or 20-motif, but I can start with one single and add another at a later date...

Restricter, good point about the single motif not being "enough." I've been tempted by it because the price point is easier to swallow, but I think I'd always want the bigger impact of the 10 or 20 motif. But then again, I'm moving out of my dainty jewelry/small handbag stage of life. 5 years ago, I'd have gravitated towards the Sweet Alhambra collection and a mini Birkin :D

Know what really steered me away from the single motif MOP? The SA in Long Island told me that parents were giving them to their daughters for their bat mitzvahs (13th birthday celebration).

Of course, that didn't stop me with the rose gold breast cancer piece or the holiday piece.

Stop giving me ideas!

And tell me something that will make me quit lusting over the piece Rachel at Jemz has.

It's the small Trinity bracelet on the black silk cord. Their website is wonky or I'd post the link...

Nice! But I definitely would change out the cord. Too heavy looking for the trinity part, especially the way they have it attached with big loops. You could use large jump rings to attach a simple cable chain (as a necklace, even), or if you want fancier, you could do a chain maile weave called Jens Pind in a very small gauge (although maybe wait till the price of gold comes down...yikes!). Looks like a wheat chain but a bit tighter. I'll take a picture of one that I made in silver later tonight.

Misti is right on with this. The Monks of New Skete are some of the best, most humane and compassionate trainers of dogs. My dog trainer friend who has helped me with my dogs is a firm devotee of their methods.

Good luck to you, and please don't feel like you are going on too much about your concerns here in Chat. It's just a signal to us that something is not going right in your world, and we are naturally going to comment back to you about it. :hugs:

No worries, CMB. Your observations were correct and your suggestions were on-point. Sometimes da truth hoits, that's all!

Oooh! Can't wait! Thanks OB!

HenHen has been good since the "events" of the morning, but oooh, he's a smelly boy today. I think it's 'cus he took Olive's breakfast. So I have one dog that eats lamb and can't have chicken, and one that eats chicken and can't have lamb! I think I may enter a convent. . . . Does the New Skete Brotherhood have a sister organization? :p
I loooove the multi-motif VCAs. So opulent. Must work on DH. . . While he sleeps, "You loooooove VCA Alhambra. . . You loooooove VCA Alhambra. . . ."
