Bmom, I love that Passerelle bracelet! I'm not fond of the cord part, but I bet a rose gold chain wouldn't be hard to attach :thinkin:

What funny about that, OB, is I was thinking the same thing for a VCA charm...Why get the whole necklace when I can attach it to anything I want:devil:. The cord is what's keeping me from the Cartier bracelet too...

Yes! I saw the Brandoff one! Which leads me to an ethics question (or just a :lecture:): I'm torn between buying it local b/c my SA is sooo sweet and helpful and I've never given her a sale (in which I would pay tax but no shipping) or buy it off Eb or out of state and save the tax and shipping and then start saving again and eventually buy something from her (because I've been assured that you can never have just one VCA..) Thoughts? Thumps? Shooz? (duck!)

Here are some thoughts. I'm not sure if the BrandOff piece comes with the Certificate of Authenticity and not sure if that's a factor if you ever need your piece serviced. Is the COA worth $500? That's what you'd be saving buying the piece from BrandOff, including tax at a rate of 8.5%. It's practically 1/3 of a second single motif.

All you need to do is look at the VCA addicts thread for proof that these pieces are addictive.

The single motif is small, unless it's the Magic Alhambra. It can make a statement like the holiday piece but a single MOP is kind of like a starter necklace. I tried one on and ended up with a 10 motif.

You need to think long and hard about whether a single motif is going to be enough for you.

It's not a great logical argument by any means but I have a migraine so its as good as you're getting for now.

Feel free to fire away with VCA questions and if you want size comparison pics of the few pieces I have, I'd be happy to do that for you.

Restricter, good point about the single motif not being "enough." I've been tempted by it because the price point is easier to swallow, but I think I'd always want the bigger impact of the 10 or 20 motif. But then again, I'm moving out of my dainty jewelry/small handbag stage of life. 5 years ago, I'd have gravitated towards the Sweet Alhambra collection and a mini Birkin :D

The Cartier holiday Love bracelet would have been perfect for you then.

And OY, that Passerelles collection. Sugar Daddy, where are you?
