My sister is going back to college soon and I'm debating going with my family there. Has anyone scored a birkin as a walk in there (without buying stuff, except maybe a bracelet or scarf)?

Not B, but they had a black Kelly on display and they offered to sell it to me as a walk-in. So I doubt B would be different. Nice store, wonderful SA!
Charlotte is not a huge store, but yes, my experience was fairly recently (last Thanksgiving). It may be worth the trip!
They had a pretty good selection of handbags when I was there a couple of months ago but I did not see any Birkin or Kelly at the time.
so you can't get a birkin or kelly as a walk in at any store???? what determines whether you are a walk in? if you've purchased from the store before? is this only in the US? looks like many people get them from fsh as walk ins.
well if this is true i might as well just get one from a reseller because i don't have an H store close to me that i could maintain a relationship with.
Wow, things changed since Nov. You never know. Try your luck and come in with an open mind and perhaps...at the reseller markups if you are going there anyway it is worth a shot.
