From October 12 to 16, 2021, Hermès Buenos Aires invited us to discover Les Jardins d'Hermès Fragrances.
The boutique was made into a small garden for the event. We had the opportunity to meet artists Mariana Guerrico and Aili Chen and have our Jardin painted especially for us!

Yes, my dear @Nerja, the aquarelles were such beautiful souvenirs and it was a pleasure to see the artists in action. Hermès spoils us a lot!

Once again, from December 9 to 17, 2021, Hermès Buenos Aires invited us to La Cuisine des Orange in Argentina.
It was a fun moment to make beautiful flower arrangements and build cute paper craft animals with the ‘Guardabosques’ team.

Hello all - Has anyone visited the BA store lately? Wonder if it’s worth visiting? I’ll be there in Jan/Feb and hoping to find a souvenir (not item specific) for myself.

Also, I read VAT refund does not apply to imported goods, so H doesn’t qualify coming back to US. Please correct me if wrong, TIA!

Hello, @molmol4317! For the time being there are strong protectionist policies imposed by the current Argentinian government and imports are limited. So, stock can be low now at the boutique. I think I may not be of much help as regards your question if it's worth visiting Hermès Buenos Aires. I love visiting all Hermès boutiques, this is my local boutique and I always find a little something for myself.

I would love to purchase another quota bag and I have seen how useful you have been on this thread to everyone and all their questions m. Is it still difficult to get a quota bag there ? And also exotics. Will be coming from Europe and am so curious. Thank you

I can't recommend a particular SA because it's a small boutique and they are a very small team, just three SAs. As regards stock, Argentina is undergoing a severe never-ending economic crisis, so there are very strong protectionist policies which make it difficult to import goods. If they have stock, if they have a bag which can be sold, they will sell it to you, but the real question is if they have stock, as stock has been really really low from quite some time now. I'm sorry the panorama may not be what you can see in other boutiques around the world. The country's economy is doing awful.

Hello! I am planning on visiting BA in April 2024 and wonder what the situation is currently like at Hermes in BA in terms of leather goods, specifically purses. Is there any stock? Is it difficult to work with an SA as a foreigner? (I am from Canada). Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, dear @straughier! Stock now is a bit better than a few months ago. I think by April it should be better. We all hope so as the new government is changing import/export policies. As regards working with a particular SA, BA is a very small boutique and there are less than five SAs and all the SAs are kind and will help you in the same way. I’m currently on vacation but maybe next month I could give an idea as regards stock…
