urban legend…Counterfeiters are way ahead of any info one could contribute.
These stamps were always located on the back of the closure strap but they can now be found close to the back flap, on the left side.
Hope this helps❤️

My other kelly is on the left corner as your description but not this new one. Spoke with my SA, might bring back to let them check. Thank you.

I don't have intention to return the bag at all, I just surprise the bag without the stamp and trying to find out is this the new normal or happen to any other tpfer.
Thank you for all the advise.

Hi. I bought a kelly 25 bag from reseller and the receipt dated recently. I tried to find the production year/blind stamp but it is not available - both on the bag and receipt. Can somebody who just purchased a bag from fsh recently help on this? I asked the reseller and she said hermes now has no year code like Chanel. Is this true? Thanks!

As far as I am aware, Hermes has a stamp code and it’s ‘Z’ for bags made this year. All my bags from FSH has a stamp.

Year stamps can be forgotten, even on brand new recently made bags. Would not be surprising if that's what happened.

Hi bababebi,

Good to hear from you and hope all is well.

Also good to hear this insight from you  I received a BBK 28 a few months ago from my H boutique and could not find the date stamp. Truly, the craftsmanship on it is a marvel and even more beautiful without the distraction of the date stamp. However, I understand how this could be upsetting. Even though I have the paperwork, at a future date after I have left this earth the paperwork could become misplaced and without it the authenticity of my bag could be in question. It’s not really an issue I want my daughter to have to deal with after I’m gone as she is not as knowledgeable about Hermès tradition and craftsmanship, although I am working hard to bring her up to speed.

So I asked my SA where the serial number is or a date stamp on the birkin and she said artisans have different ways of doing those so im not sure if evading the question this way is a means for them to prevent replicas/ counterfeits.
