For anyone who has bought the Casaque muffler, have you played with it? I was going to buy this today but it’s a hot and humid 34c and hard to envisage winter weather, which is usually not a problem for me but I usually go for simple and not patterns. I’m wondering for those who have the knit/sweater and or scarf/muffler - how have you found them?

Have had a play a few times in store. It is very long so needs to be wrapped a few times (or at least once). For me I could see it wrapped with a light leather jacket or blazer to substitute for a coat. I used to do this with a 'snood' type thing I had in a bulky knit. Even just on its own with heavy sweaters.

Given it's so thick I might not have many occasions to wear with my actual winter coats.

I thought I was properly over this...

And to add, seeing your hesitation around the pattern - I have an old RL in a black and white herringbone pattern which is very similar and it was very versatile- lovely on black and camel. Would imagine red as well. Maybe not navy - but the camel one would do for sure.

Excited to see these in person. Sorry I'm not familiar enough but what is the reference/ purpose of the leather bit? I've seen leather covered locks for exotic bags but not noticed on non- exotic leathers.
