Thanks so much! Much appreciated!

Gracekelly, here are some photos, but the lighting in my hotel isn’t good. Everything looks a little more yellow than in real life. [emoji853] so not sure that this helps—-but I plan on wearing this scarf with this jacket and also the navy Chanel airplane jacket (which I also think you might have), as well as with white shirts and blue jeans, my navy coat and things like that.

weN84 - this list is priceless, can’t thank you enough!! I am interested in old maps and in love with H’s way of interpreting maps, so very curious about this scarf. The colour groups are almost unknown territory to me, so very grateful for your info of them as well. All this is now duly saved - just have to wait for a IRL look at the scarves:smile:
Same here. Love maps and H's use of maps. And curious about these CWs, which seem strange (this is fall/winter?). But, as we know, the website photos are rarely accurate. I hope these come into the boutiques soon and we can see them IRL! Or at least in good tPF pix!

Some stores in the US have already received some of the cws while there's still nothing in Europe when I last checked. :shrugs:

Hello. I must tell you how invaluable and helpful everyone's pictures are. Thank you for taking the time to post them.

I am a newbie. I've dreamed of owning an Hermes scarf for many years. On a trip to Paris in 2011, I stood outside the store too shy to walk inside and missed the opportunity to purchase my first scarf.
Now, many years later, we were on vacation in Greece and stopped into the Athens store to look at belts for my husband. At his encouragement, I looked at a scarf for myself and chose the Selle de Dignitaire 90 in the blue/orange cw. I chose it based on how vivid the colors are and how it looks tied.

After spending the last few days reading through this thread and looking at everyone's photos, I've learned so many things to help me choose my next scarf. Yes, I could see this becoming an addiction. I only wish I had began collecting many years ago in Paris.

Welcome!

I hear you, it was the yellow that ruined this one for me. and just a bit too many different color. I went for the red pink one, here some pics

This is not fair. Now I want AWOO and that CHANEL jacket.

Thanks so much for the pictures. It gives me more to think about especially since I do have the navy airline jacket. Even though the colors are off I can see that the patterns work together.

kipp, many thanks for posting these photos. I am a blonde and was set on CW 01 but I just called my SA and changed it to the marine/anthracite/gris instead. The last photo showed me how well it will blend with other colors that I wear often( gray, cream, taupe) but still giving me the blue that works so well on my skin tone. Thank you!

Thanks, gracekelly.---you are kind. I truly wish that the colors in the photos for you had been more true to life... :-( However, the SA's at the Hermes boutique thought this colorway of Aroooo looked great with the plaid jacket---and I think it would be fabulous with your anthracite Kelly. This scarf also looked great with my natural barenia Halzan I was carrying , and would also work with etoupe (and similar colors), ficelle, prune (because of the contrast border), and obviously any of Hermes dark blues and some of the lighter blues.

You are welcome, 911snowball! I loved this colorway because of the contrasting lighter colors (white, cream, light taupe) that were subtle and didn't take over the design, The light blue in it is quite beautiful! Hope that it works for you!

I agree with Snowball and am finding myself in the identical position. I really waffled between the two and as much as I love colorway #1, the red border is killing me on the marine/anthracite.

You must be a mind reader because when I was trying out bags with the navy plaid jacket, I settled on my anthracite Kelly as being the best choice for it. I do have a barenia Kelly and an Alma in prune electric. Perfect!
