My first two purchases for Fall 2018
Baobob Cat - CW08 - not the colour initially had in mind when I tried on it on the store, this one really appealed to me.
Act III, - cw14 - I'm absolutely in love with this scarf once seeing in person. The detail and artistry is amazing! This cw I think looks much more grey on screen, but the lovely blues come out in real life. I can see wearing it with light grey, soft yellows, soft blues...
I also tried on Travers a Champ cw09 - while it was charming, and the pink and red colours very flattering for me, it didn't make my heart "sing" like the other two. So while this one was initially on my wish list, its now in a "maybe" category.
However, I did try Astrologie (the blue one with the black border, cw07 I think) and surprisingly liked it on me. I've liked photos of it here, but wasn't sure about it for me. So this could be a contender.
So many scarves, and I'm trying to be more selective, but I think this is going to be a hard season for me!

Cw 01 is more muted in comparison to cw 03 that is more pop. I hope this helps anyone who is considering this silk or ordering it online.

@litchi Still no signs of the three designs in washable silks at my store. Sorry!

I'm in love with that pale version of Acte III... all the details look so delicate! I think this colorway is going to be the "sleeper" of the season.

moma, I find the Plume twill easier to throw on and go; it's somewhere between the ethereal weight of a mousseline and the more substantial weight of a 90 twill. Leaving aside the issue of how much sizing H uses on any particular run, I generally find that Plumes are really, really soft, like a well-loved older issue but without the sueded texture like the vintage 70s or a dip-dye, and there's more of that fabric to wrap around your neck so you get the luxurious feeling of a lot of silk without the thickness of a CSGM.
For me, the Twill 140's only work as a shawl ---- triangle fold, over a dress or shirt. When I try to tie them in some sort of knot or use a scarf ring, I can't seem to get them to scrunch up enough to not feel like a huge pile of heavy silk resting on places that don't need a huge additional pile, if you get my drift. When I've tried to wear them in the winter, where the weight of the silk is more similar to the weight of the rest of the winter wardrobe, I've found them not pliable enough like the cashmeres. I guess it's back to the scrunch factor.
Having said that, and despite having re-homed one I thought I couldn't live without but never wore, I found this Tete de Cheval Tattoo irresistible.

Very interesting to hear about this. My "enormous" experience with 140 (apart from moussies) is a summer silk and a Dipdye. They feel heavy - assume twill/"ordinary" silk must be/feel heavier? I love mine but they only come out to play in winter - partly due to their neutral/darkish colouring.
