I just had this conversation with a local Hermès scarf sales associate:
Me: Do you have any of the AW18 season scarves already in the store? I live a distance away and would like to make sure that I have something to look at if I go in.
SA: Yes, but we have very few CWs of some of the new designs in the store. Which are you interested in?
Me: I have a few, but I would like to start with Acte III and Baobab Cat.
SA: Baobab Cat?
Me: Yes, that’s the design with the cat’s head blooming from the center of a flower.
SA: Oh yes, I’ve seen that one. I think we only have one CW of that one and 2 of the Acte III. I would recommend to be safe that you wait until maybe August to come in because we should have a better selection then.
Me: Oh honey, I don’t have the strength and patience to buy my first scarf of the season in August!
(I’ll be stopping in maybe next week) LOL

:roflmfao: :roflmfao: ya got that in one! (On a serious note- it really IS so helpful to have this thread to refer to for mod shots. Once I've seen a mod shot of something in one of these or SOTD threads that I end up buying, I have yet to make a mistake and have to return if I order online.)

So very true. I feel exactly the same. I will do my part and try to stop by H next week to sleuth around and take some pics.

I managed to visit my boutique after a considerable absence (life) and saw a few of the new offerings. I learned an interesting tidbit about the Panoplie Equestre design. Apparently the device with four dangling balls about 1-2 o'clock above the the Hermes signature is a horse pacifier!

I'm afraid I don't know how to draw on this image to point it out ^ (right there, on the lowest green stripe). Cool!

And yes, I did come home with a new one, cw8 of Jeu de Soie. That caramel color is luscious! No pics at the moment but I will do my best tomorrow.....

Well they’re being quite strict in my store this season. I was invited in for a sneak preview last week (hid in the changing room with my SA going through scarves [emoji87]) but I’m not allowed to purchase until the 1st of July. They don’t have much stock in as yet anyway. Loved ‘A Travers Champs’ in c/w 17 - it’s a light hearted design with delightful details.

Thank you for sharing the tid bit about the horse pacifier! I think a few years ago, H came out with silver earrings that have this same design. Mystery solved!!! I can't wait to see your Jeu de Soie! I am intrigued with that yummy caramel color that is used in many of the scarves for F/W 2018. I can't wait to see this new season in person.

I don’t even bother attending those Hermes sneak preview events anymore. It’s always a huge disappointment to see the scant selection of new season items. I am liking A Travers Champs a lot too. Can’t wait to see it IRL
