No problem! I figured it was less work in the end to do this once than to keep going back and forth trying to remember what page something was on. Did I bookmark that page? Whose was it? Is it more purple or blue? Which CW was this again???? Acckk! That was too much trouble.

The various IRL pics of Acte III have gotten so confusing and difficult to search for in this thread to make comparisons I decided to go back through and make a list of some of the various pics shared and comparison photos for those who might like to see some of it all in one post and don't want to search 100+ pages to see the IRL versus online shots. Thank you to everyone who has posted mod shots here for us to have comparisons and to papertiger, lyseiki, fifi, Croisette, yodaling and saranga whose pics I used here. I got confused too, it is what prompted the whole thing. I think (but am not sure) they are shades of blue. In every pic whatever the sky colors are Bottom has the same pants colors.

Yes I believe so! CWs 05, 10, and 12 seem to be the only ones with black cloud corners.

Dear saranga, the cloud corner on Acte III CW 10 is a dark marine (navy) and the hem is light blue:



I never played Titania, but I was once Snout the Tinker, the Rustic Player who portrayed the Wall!
If you look closely at the H design, you can see that it's a wooden stage (so actors can "tread the boards") with flat set pieces -- see the edge on the orange "Moon section"? It's illuminated by the changeable Hermes spotlight and to me it looks like the Moon can be pulled up and down. The Moon piece is covering Titania's face here, but won't be in a minute. (And I agree with the idea that this image represents Oberon's obstruction of Titania's vision so she'll fall for Bottom.) Also look at the set piece with the Lion, as you can see the brace holding it up. It's a very "theatrical" image.

So sorry for the confusion everybody! For saying that 3 of the CWs had black sky/cloud corners. Just ignore me.

I really do think the corner on CW 05 is black, but to be honest I can't recall 100 percent from my memory that it truly was. Forgive me!

However, something that I've noticed, though I may be wrong again—is that with the official colors, the first color listed seems to match up with the color of the sky in the upper right, cloud corner.

For example, "rouge" is the first color named for CW 03, and the sky on there is indeed red. "Marine" is first for CW 10, and @ABQ2ATL was kind enough to correct me that it was indeed a navy/marine

"Turquoise" for CW 07, which matches up with the turquoise sky on that CW. And so on and so forth. I took this screenshot from the USA site by the way.

So given everything, I would go on to deduce that that there could be a good chance that the corner of CW 05 must indeed be black/"noir"??

I regret not taking more pictures

LOL - I feel exactly the opposite. I don't mind a moon face on my shoulder, but I think there is no way to tie that bobcat that doesn't look weird. But I also don't like it flat.

Here's my Baobab Cat flat:

I love the different looks of this design, especially the watercolor look and the shaded edges of the green flower! It's just amazing and really fun to play with. This is truly a case of IRL love for a design I thought was just awful on screen!

Yes, Saranga, you're right in your interpretation of the colors and corners! Well done.
The first color listed in the CW is the sky and I think the second listed color is the Moon section.

That must be so. CW 12 is noir/vert amande/mauve and the sky is definitely noir.
