For @eagle1002us @ElainePG and others that wanted to to see the red Act III (cw03)

Lovely to be @Susie Tunes twin too

Modelling, I chose to wear something of complete contrast just for these photos so you can make out what is actually the scarf.
Thank you so much, Papertiger! :flowers:
Yes, this is looking quite intriguing. Because there are fewer colors, the "geometry" of the details somehow becomes more visible. This will definitely be on my list to try when I get to the boutique.

Braving the unbearably hot temperatures (35c/90f) and central London being gridlocked by Pride’s march, I got by first insight IRL yesterday of the forthcoming season’s offering.

So far, I must admit I am not really blown away by what was available in CP. Having said that, it might be because none of the designs and CWs on my wish list have made it to the store yet. It seems H are focussing early production on reds and dark blues. The former I do not really like and I am banned by my SA from getting any more of the latter (although I will fight back for Acte III in CW07). Awooooo in prune/grey/ice bleu (CW05?) was tempting but I really want to wait for 08 to appear to make my choice.
Very nice! Is your Rocobar a 90cm?
So we’re off to a slow start with only one model making it home with me: Rocabar in 08.

Ya. Pesky electric foot pedals are no problem but my grandma had the ooooold fashioned kind she used all her life where the rocker pedal ran the machine. No electricity. I was never able to Coordinate myself to work it..
Totally OT, but my mum has already told me that I get to inherit her 3 sewing machines - me with the uncoordinated eye-hand-foot problem (I too almost failed home econs) - that sewing machine will become a decorative item

That's a really cheeky full moon :amuse:
Your modshots make this look good. I shall return to H and have another look at cw 03 (toddles off plotting...)

Seeing them modeled for real makes such a difference. CW 03 is magnificent. CW 5 fab is fabulous- really love the green and purples in it. CW 16 is entrancing.....Now I know if CW 12 bombs out on me when it comes in tomorrow or Tuesday, I've got some back up selections to choose from.

I really like all the colors in this one, though like you the deep bright yellow contrast hem makes me go hmmmm.....Maybe once someone shows it tied? Who would have ever thought such a small item like a contrast hem would be so problematic to me? I don't like white contrast hems at all, which was a part of the ultimate downfall of the Spring Iris pocket square in the blues and pinks for me and I ended up with the jaune soufre/lavender one (with jaune soufre hem).

Contrast hems are definitely an issue for me too. H seems to be favoring a lot of "pop" contrast hems lately, and sometimes they get it okay, sometimes they don't IMO. I don't know if this is H's way of trying to make the scarves appeal to a younger audience—I don't know, perhaps their way of "punching" it up?

I love my pop colors, but I prefer hems to blend in with a scarf a bit more. With this one, I just couldn't get past the yellow hem enough to want to pull the trigger :annoyed:

Thank you ever so much!

Thank you for posting these fantastic pics. This is my number one CW choice of Awoo. My SA is already on the lookout for me. It is spectacular!

Well, there are tiny little reddish flowers throughout the design, but not the bright red hue of the hem. My SA told me that H sought to do a hem that would completely contrast the colors in the scarves.

Thank you so very much!

Well, my two top choices were CW10 and CW12, which they fortunately had at my local store. Another contender for me was CW6, which they didn’t have. I didn’t pick 10 because it was very similar in coloration to my Jaguar Quetzal CW1 and because I fell in love with the black and the purple swirly clouds. The overall color scheme appealed to me more and felt more appropriate to the nighttime setting of the play.

You’re welcome. Can’t wait to see what you will pick!

Thank you ever so much for these pics! Gorgeous all!

What an amazing CW! I am in love!

Thank you ever so much for this comparison pic. Did you take of them home with you? Loving this design!

This is sooooo beautiful! Is the sky black?

Simply gorgeous!

Yes I believe so! CWs 05, 10, and 12 seem to be the only ones with black cloud corners.

I like that your Evelyne and Cityback are doing a cameo

It is CSGM indeed Allan. Way to warm for mods shots or to be worn now. It will remain in its box for the next few months...
Evie and CB usually live on that chair as I understand leaving bags on the floor brings bad luck. I alternate between both at the moment (i find Steve to be more of a winter bag for some reasons) and it's more convenient to have them at hand rather than stored away in their dustbags.

Again OT but my home ec (sewing) teacher got tears in her eyes when she looked at my first sewn project, a triangle headscarf with ties, very 60s design.

Thanks for posting this comparison pic - I "need" this scarf because of one of the motives - but none of them is calling out to me yet - better hang in there and hope for a miracle, i e more CWs

I like the CW 23 myself. It's a nice blue and the colors don't compete with each other too much so I know I won't be buying for the dices, but to wear it. The thing is that I have so many blue scarves in my collection so I'm waiting to see the 2 green CWs (CW 19 and CW 32) before I make decision. I hope you find one that speaks to you. There are 3 more CWs so there's hope.
