I've heard this before. I have no doubt that may be true for many franchises, but I don't think Manhasset is going anytime soon. They have several events a year which are attended by or done with corporate - scarf tying events, charity events, etc. My favorite was about two years ago when they had Claude in the men's department, repairing a Kelly; I also enjoyed the party when the boutique moved (same center, better location) and renovated during the Year of India. The SM/owner seems to have very close ties to corporate and good relationships with other SMs I've met over the years. I've also only had terrific, helpful service. :)

*Of Course*, this is not to dispute or contradict anything else stated here. But as with so many other things H, there seem to be no hard and fast rules!!

Now the update on the store in question- thanks for all the PMs and your contact info! The"list" is still open. Pls PM me if any of you want to be added.

I have also heard (from one of the SAs) that people in this store are severely demoralized and many are leaving. I was told my letter may come in the right time to the HQs.

I really think it's great that you are helping H improve the situation at this boutique, Varvara! I'm sure alto of people will have you to thank when things get better there!

Thank you to ALL my dear ladies. I am trying. If not the "bigger" clients of H can make a difference who is going to listen to the rest? And even if all of this comes in vein, I will at least have the feeling I tried....

thank you for your nice greeting, so sorry about your experiences at the Wien store. They were probably only nice to me cause I was with my friend, third generation Viennese, lives in the Todesco Palais, is a litigator and knows her way around Wien. You know many people say the same thing about Viennese shops and their owners as they say ahout the Parisenne shops. Greetings to you also. If you can, try the Salzburg store, partner store, but they are so nice to everybody who comes into the store. I have been there when they offered drinks to people who just came into the store to look. Very nice owner and staff there.
Finally, if you dont get any satisfaction from H in Wien, you, as a EU citizen, can always complain to the EU in Brussels, since consumers now have protection from these types of shady practices.
Hope to see you in Wien when I am there in October.
Have a great rest of the Summer and tell my fav Graben Gross Gott for me!

Hi I will be in Prague and Vienna in the first week of May, any tips to land a Kelly or Birkin?

I have tried at various stores throughout the world but no luck yet. Bought accessories along the way to try to get offered one.

Really appreciate any advice given, cheers!

H Store in Wien/Vienna
Any update on the remodeling of this store on the Graben?
Has is reopened on the Graben from its temporary location on Tuchlauben next to the new 5 storey LV store? LOL
Has anyone been in the remodeled H store in Wien and has it taken over the jewelry store next door?
It keeps enlarging and taking over the smaller stores next to it, ie, camera shop, jewelry store, why next it will take over the mega Erste bank at the end of the Graben, and maybe Meinls! LOL
Any update is appreciated.

^ I was in Vienna last Christmas and they still were in the building next to LV, I loved the interior and even spotted a Birkin.. after reading all these stories I hope their service has been improved!
