Ugh the traffic is going to be absolutely atrocious. I heard they are going to bus and train people in from NY. Can you imagine all that traffic to the mall during a football game or a concert. But I am so happy to hear its going to be 2 floors, meaning that they will have a much larger selection! I will miss my 20min drive to the mall. And I will have to inquire about this party, you speak of! haha

It would be fun to meet other TPF friends there. It’s supposed to be luxurious red carpet party.

The moving is postponed to Jan 10th of 2020.

Had no idea this location had a thread. This is my store and the staff seemed to be dreading the move. I certainly will not want to drive down to that abomination of a mall. I like being able to pop in and see what’s new etc.. going down to the new location would be a full day disaster. It’ll be like Woodbury Commons

While DH took the kids to Chuck E Cheese (5 min drive) this afternoon I popped into Tiffany to buy some presents. The service there was spectacular, far more attention than I’ve ever gotten in either Manhattan store. Of course I had to pop into my favorite orange store right across from the blue store. I am a scarf fiend so I can’t comment on anything else. I saw a sparkly bandana at $255, and although I was told it was new I didn’t pick it up... there was not a lot of gavroches on hand, but there were a few Animapolis colorways and I selected the black contrast hem. I also saw there was a good selection of unique scarf rings. The attention and service was SUPERLATIVE, at least compared to Hermes Madison Ave and Hermes Wall St. I was gifted perfume samples and the scarf knotting cards. The best part was no tax charged on the scarf!!! Ask for Gigi, she was very patient and nice with me. Overall the mall was worth going to. LK Bennett was having a 60% clearance sale and there is a Banana Republic (which always has stuff on sale). I look forward to my next visit.
