Do you think I am in a place I could ask to compare to another one (if even available)? I assume they don’t generally permit exchanges
I don’t want to seem ungrateful and would definitely keep it but a bit curious
I think it’s worth asking the SA! These are expensive bags, you want to be happy with it and not resentful, like you settled. If they have another to compare, you can at least see it’s more a design flaw or the particular bag you got, and then decide if you can live with it. I can’t imagine my SA would be upset.
also unrelated I reached out to white fox and they’re open to designing an insert for the p’tit arcon - would you all recommend this for protection/adding some structure?

After using this bag for day 4 in a row(!) (loving it!), I’m thinking about where I’m putting my hands on the bag more. Maybe as it’s very soft/pliable it’s simply from using the bag; those are the areas my hands are going to pry open the bag and grab items etc. I think it’s going to be inevitable from use. Sorry for so many posts but figured I’d share if others were curious 
If an insert does get created, I would happily buy one. I like using inserts for all my bags and would love some pockets in the P'tit to stay organized.
My Togo P'tit kind of goes everywhere and I do think it's as you said, because it is flexible and unlined, and because of the crescent shape. I usually leave the bag unzipped when I am carrying it and at home I store it hanging up vs on its side (living life on the wild side here). The ripples don't bother me, though I am not easily bothered. I am carrying a bag hook from Clipa, a cardholder, and lip gloss in the attached photos of the ripples I get open vs unopen. I would agree that the ripples are more visible on the front edge in the photo with the bag closed vs the back.

My SA showed me a really cute way to add a twilly which incorporates the clip - I think I’ll go back and purchase next week.
I’ve been using it for a few days now and I’ve just been clipping my house keys to the clip - I have two small children and a dog so things/ people/ animals always need to be carried and it just keeps my keys accessible. Not very aesthetic but functional!
Also, the front of my bag doesn’t really bow as much as per your pic - it kind of happens at the sides.
However I imagine overtime as the leather softens the whole bag will become kind of slouchy.

I love this gray too! It’s so funny I could have sworn this color was on display and my SA said the bag was black and it was just intense lighting that made the bag look more gray-tone. But maybe it was in fact this gray/black chameleon!

I emailed white fox measurements hopefully they’ll come up with an insert soon.
Does the larger size also come with a foam insert!? I wish they offered the inserts for other bags! It’s a nice touch to maintain structure
