Dont recall seeing any kelly wallet but the two shops are pretty well stocked so please leave plenty of time to browse around.

Both stores are at the right end of the terminal with smaller gate number, the sales at the further right seems to be more knowlageble than those at the middle. The terminal is very well signed with lots of maps so you will have no trouble finding the two stores.

Have fun exploring and share yout finds! =)

Does anyone know if the H SAs in Seoul will talk about bags on the phone? My sis is in Seoul right now and is clueless about bags and I wanted to see if they had any constances in stock before asking her to make a trip down.

In Korea, including Seoul, anyone who hasn't been waited more than 2 yrs can't get B or K at this time.. H shops are struggling to give B or K to waited customers and after the last waited person get his/her B or K they will sell them to the general.. this is what I've heard from all H shops in Korea. But I have a doubt if they will sell them to the GENERAL in the future.. *sigh*

I was looking at a B from a reseller, and asked for a receipt. They provided one from Lotte duty free shop in Seoul. The address is 40-1 Chamshil-Dong Songpa-Gu Seoul Korea. Is this legit? Thanks!

p.s.: Forgot to say I'm just trying to figure out if you can buy B's from a duty free store in Seoul, not like on the verge of pulling the trigger on this particular B.

As far as I know, duty free shops do not have a waiting list for anything (no holding either) - they will sell to whomever sees it first. I heard they do get in birkins and kellys from time to time.. I saw a bleu Jean birkin at duty free a couple years ago..

something to share...i finally arrived seoul yesterday. went to hermes dosan park. after much tallking, i was told they can offer a birkin or kelly to me if i buy other merchandise of the same value as the bag. I asked what is the colour of the bag. They couldnt show me but they finally settled on showing me the colour chart. I browsed hard and decided either a diamond watch or diamond ring worth about usd 8000-9000. Then the physical bag was brought out and awakardedly , i tried the two bags (i can only choose one) and i couldnt make up my mind...its a green birkin or a rose jaipur kelly. I then asked if i could come back tomorrow its turning late 8.15pm and we are really hungry! Sadly the sales staff told me bluntly that i wouldnt be able to come back tomorrow. Banned! We left for dinner.

i think she meant i cant return the next morning to have the same deal, that is purchase the watch or ring AND the birkin or kelly. The people are not the friendiest type of people towards foreigners. I think the attitude in Korea is still dont ask too much, think fast and buy fast. Probably if i go back today, they will ignore me and its best i just dont ask questions.

I'm sorry to hear that. But you just can't decide on big purchases so quickly. Why couldnt you make your mind up? Didn't love either? So did you go back today? What happened?

yes..the watches and jewellry didnt really appeal to me a lot and the colour of the bags, grany and rose jaipur looks too bright for me. And yes, i decided to go back today to look at other items (as that night was already late, they closed at 8pm). Armed with very low expectations, i could feel the tension and the staff who served me tried to hide away when her colleague told her in Korean that i walked in. I calmly told them i am here just to look around, I tried two rings, wanted to buy an ostrich belt but they didnt have my size and another belt for my husband but they didnt have his size too. They tried to ask me to buy the ring...about usd 25k, the H ring with diamonds but i didnt like the thick sides of the ring, it hurts my fingers..so sadly i didnt grab anything from them. So they were not happy and mummured something in Korean. I went to the cafe in the basement and the food is good. I bought a fauv alligator kelly wallet from another hermes store in Korea but didnt want to ask for birkin or kelly again..due to the 1st bad experience. I think I will be good and continue buying from my SA in Singapore. BTW, anyone knows how much a matte alligator kelly wallet cost in other parts of the world? Thanks.

i just sold my crocus birkin 30 ....i think i am not so much a bright bag person...prefer the safe colours..like ruby, gris, graphite, black etc. I am saving for an ostrich or crocodile birkin and would like to get hold of a black kelly lakis too. Pop colours doesnt look nice on me. In Japan, its a different story, the staff were able to let me keep a day to decide so u have time to digest and not just buy any that comes along. i have been buying hermes bags for about 6 years now...so i have used and tried several colors but i could be tempted to buy on impulse at times especially if you are on holiday!!!

You got a Kelly wallet! Nice - where did you find it?

Yeah, you might as well save for what you really love bc seems like you know what you're looking for. And bad service always puts me off. How bad would it have been if you got the ring to get the bag and you loved neither!?

Do you find H more expensive in seoul or Singapore? Where do they have better stock?

i found mine at hermes shilia hotel...around 12,000 usd? (14700 sgd).Prices here are cheaper than singapore. not sure if its cheaper than europe or London. In seoul, the Donsan park has the most stock but you will find different things at each store so its still worth a visit to a few hermes stores if you plan to come to seoul. So far, no lindy only garden party bags...one victoria and one kelly pouchette in shiny amethyst alligator.
