You can play "dumb" and tell them that you don't know the price:king: I can think of hundreds of witty comebacks for you but they are all inappropriate for this forum.....too bad because they would make you laugh your butt off! Congratulations:smile1:
LOL...pm me, I do like to learn some witty comments to say back to them, I have learnt this days not to say the price to avoid the shock look on their face, just tell them it's from Tiffany, they can go and find out the price themselves.:wlae:

That is a stunner! I can't imagine the size of it. I tried one at Tiffany's a while ago and I *think* it was half a carat (I'm not too sure, though). It shone so beautifully that I truly cannot begin to imagine how yours must look IRL! CONGRATULATIONS!! Does your DH have any single brothers? LOL

Alright, for those who are the diamonds expert, here are the load downs:
2.8 carats, G color, vvs1. I got my old(1 year old) Tiffany engagement upgraded from 1.5 carats to this. Sweet DH said I have not got any compliments after he spent 20,000 usd, so with our almost ten year anniversary coming up, and after 50,000 usd something later, here she is....
I LOVE YOUR RING ITS GORGEOUS!!
I CAN GET THE 2.8 CARAT H-I COLOR S1 FOR ONLY 11-12 THOU USD, THE ONLY IMPORTANT THING WITH DIAMOND FOR ME IS THE COLOR YOU CAN NEVER GO BEYOND I-COLOR AND VS1-S1, BECAUSE YOU CANT REALLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM VVS1 AND S1 UNLESS YOU HAVE A MICROSCOPE AND PEOPLE WOULD NOT LOOK AT YOUR RING 1 CM. FAR FROM THERE EYES,

ANYWAYS IM SURE YOUR LOVING IT!!!!!!

imo, buying SI1 on a bigger stone is kind of tricky because at times you will see inclusion/s. you really have to see the stone in person. same thing with color the bigger the more color it shows even if still in colorless range unless flourescence is present .i love my stone with lots of brilliance and fire so cut is also very important for me. at times though it is kind of destructing esp. when you are driving....btw...
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! YOU DESERVE IT!!beautiful!!!

Yep. That's what I was told, and Tiffany don't carry anything less than color I. And I know I can get it other places cheaper, but I like the Gurantee and upgrade Tiffany offered, and of course the reputation and name they have, I have a six year old dd, I can pass to her as a family heirloom.:smile1:
