Yes I started using it right away.

to be honest, I had to get use to it being a 'open top' bag...and to get the 'slouch' working the right way so it didn't look silly.

but I had to travel to NJ today for work and it held a TON of stuff:
wristlet
multi-function wallet
medium cosmetics case
cell phone
mp3 player (and not a tiny one...it's 2 years old and the size of a brick!)
sephora compact
ginormo Chanel sunglasses/hard case
2 packs of gum
2 pens
my big 4x6 zip around planner (not coach, but a $4 steal from Target)
24oz bottle of water
zippy bag with tissues/hand sanitizer
zippy bag full of grapes

so I'm VERY happy with this!

yes - I would have loved the signature stripe one...but I AM happy I went with the leather bottom one!

Found it at the outlet! Paid about $250 total with tax! So happy! And I got a ginormo dust bag to go with it!

quite honestly - YES! Thanks for asking!

ok - so MAYBE not totally 100% comfortable when it was STUFFED to the gills yesterday (and honestly I had a ton of crap in it!)...but when just my "everyday" stuff is in it, it's great to just sling on my shoulder (with the slouch going I can pick it up with one hand, bend my elbow, and swing it right up to my shoulder!)

Love the leather bottom too...it's BUTTAH smooth...and I'm sure it'll be more durable than the signature stripe one (even though that bag IS beautiful.)

oh...I DO have to pull a "soccer mom" move and throw my hand over my bag when I slam on the breaks while driving...heheheh...so it doesn't go flying and spill out it's contents everywhere.

I'm still glowing over this bag purchase! heheheh
