Hi all!

I just went to try on the Evie and the Pico - Somehow i looked so much better with the Pico GM - The top is soft and so it closes the top - quite good for me actually!

Reveal coming up!!
I was about to say - in GM it slouches and closes itself up, and it does fit on my shoulder. You bought 26 cm model right? Also I imagine it is not your only bag, and you do not have a baby yet, I am sure you will have plenty of opportunities to carry her. What color? When is the reveal?
(I am looking for the GM myself right now)

Excellent choice! While I admire the look and functionally of Evie, I adore my Pico in that je ne sais quoi old high way of love

Can't wait to see reveal picks!

Look forward to your modeling pics! I wasn't attracted to pico because I often see the PM size and it seems so impractical to me. But I recently discovered some pics of the GM being carried over the shoulder, and that seems like a great option for a shoulder bag. Will you be carrying yours over the shoulder? Can you post some over the shoulder pics?

Hi all - I am a newbie to H and about to take the plunge! Am considering between the Picotin GM in Prune and Evelyne GM in Raisin.

I have no kids yet but planning to have in the year to come. Currently I have Celine Trapeze and Box..

What would u choose and Why? :)) Thanks everyone in advance!
+1 for Evelyne

I like picotin more but since you are planning on having a baby soon maybe evelyne is the better choice.
Coz you'll have to hold him in your arm sometimes and it's not convenient to carry picotin.
About the size , this depend on how many stuffs you like to carry , coz after having a baby the stuffs will be double.
So , hope this help.

I wanted to add that I carried my babies in slings very often and a crossbody would not work easily for that. If you can shorten the strap to work as a shoulder that might feel fine to you also, but hand held was my preference at the time.

Both bags are great, but the Evelyne has the outer pocket and the crossbody option, so I think it's more practical. Your boutique will shorten the strap for you to hit where it is comfortable.

If you decide on the Pico, a bag insert will make it more useful, especially when you are carrying around baby bottles and pumps and all that wonderful stuff  You can probably get an insert maker to customize one as a baby bag.

old thread but if I purchase a mini evelyn on the website & the strap is too long, will the boutique shorten it for me if I bring it in? If so, do you know what the charge is? Thx

They did in 2014, on Evelyne PM, when I wrote that! Free at purchase, and some leeway after purchase.

Given what I generally experience with Hermès adjustments today, they would still shorten a strap. Not as sure that it would be gratis. But, I haven't tried as my TPMs are a good length for me and I haven't purchased another PM.

As a mother of two boys, it always gives me an impression of calmness that I can use  but I have a concern due to the length of the strap. I’m going to ask Sévrès about it; maybe this will be an opportunity for me to own a TPM. Thank you for the information

I guess I’m in the minority as I have never been a fan of the Evelyne. I don’t like the large H and am not into the overall aesthetic. My Pico 22, however, I adore. I don’t feel that the top gapes open and like the arm crook carry. The straps are super comfortable! I have plenty of crossbody bags if I want a different mode of carry for the day.
