It seems like it got a little misshaped while in their warehouse. Unusual though that they are not going apart but in the same direction. I'd stuff it (also for having some weight in it), hang it up for 2 days by the handle. It should get back to the normal position. If not, I'd return.

I would keep it and enjoy it. As you said when the vacchetta softens it will probaly be ok.

Thank you for responding. Good idea. I stuffed it and will hang it up for a couple of days. Like you suggested... If square hardware doesn’t adjust straight up like a perfect square, I will return it. Thank you again.
How do I hang it up? Hanger with padding? Afraid Vachetta handles will
dent, mark.....or it will be fine? Pls respond soon. Thank you.
Go to the top of this page and click on Forums. Then scroll down to the Louis Vuitton forum or the one you want to post on. Click on it to open it. My best advice is to enjoy your bag and don’t worry about the inevitable slight marks , spots etc that come with using your bag. As someone once said, “ wear your bag, don’t let it wear you.” You have purchased one of the most durable designer bags on the market and you can enjoy it for many years with minimal worries about the canvas. The vacchetta will change color and spot if you get it wet but this is how it was designed. Hugs
