Lovecoach, I have the winter white Legacy shoulder satchel with pockets (whatever it's called!), and I truly love it. I dropped it in a mud snow puddle yesterday, and just wiped it clean. Just let the leather go. Don't worry about it, and enjoy your bag. It will wear just beautifully, scratches, whatever. Also, I have had a white bag from them before years ago, and I was always worried about it getting dirty. It held up great. I never had a problem at all with the white. And I am hard on my bags.

i really like the leather when it gets the worn in vintage distressed look myself. gives it lots of charater, i even like it when it gets a little darker too. i bought one in whiskey and can't wait to break her in. but i hear the scratches come out with rubbing. did u try that?

Hi, I just got the Legacy in Whiskey, the SA said it is retreated leather can can take a downpour. She also told me scratches should rub out. It is a Xmas gift to myself....should I return it for the black??

It is amazing that no matter how many SAs we speak with regarding scratches on the legacy leather...there always seems to be one that has totally different information on the handling and care of this leather :confused1: .

I am keeping mine. I am so excited to use it. Still holding out for christmas - 2 weeks! I like the black, almost got the black but felt if I would regret not getting the whiskey.

That is EXACTLY what my SA said and that is why I don't worry about mine. I have to say that the whiskey is amazing and gets better everyday. When I look at the black now it doesn't even look like the same bag. No offense to black bag gals, I just love the whiskey!

Okay, keeping the Whiskey, I have a black Chelsea already, was ready for a change, can't wait for Xmas when I get to start using it, hubby is making me wait this year, no early gifts...Thanks all.
