There are a few things to consider since these bags are quite different.
First, saffiano leather vs. soft pebbled leather. They're both pretty easy to care for, but saffiano is more structured. Pebbles slouches over time.
Second, zipper vs. magnetic snap: the zipper keeps your items secure & the Riley has a large opening when unzipped. The Hamilton has the snap in the center & I find that it can be a bit awkward to get stuff in and out.
How to wear the bag. Riley has 3 options (satchel, shoulder, & Crossbody) & hamilton has 2 (shoulder & satchel).
Finally, how much do you need to carry. When you go to Macy's ask the SA if you can try each bag with your stuff inside. I always find that so helpful. Bags can look a lot different when loaded up. Also, try them on in front of a mirror & see which suits you best.
Both bags are great, so you definitely can't go wrong! Have fun choosing, and be sure to post pictures!

I'll include a couple of pics comparing EW Hamilton and Medium Riley- hopefully they will give you some perspective on size.

Very informative! I love the color of your Hamilton!!! I don't carry much in my bags because I hate heavy bags. May I see the inside of your Riley? $208 isn't bad the downside is I was ordering online

I sold my maise on eBay! It's the best place to sell for me. I prefer Cindy more since the handles go down and mk quality is much better imo. The saffiano is more sturdy and loved blossom!

I also had a similar dilemma and bought large online since it was lowered to 275 and I used 20% off plus cash back. I called my local Macy's but they don't have medium Riley. If you're pretty tall maybe large will be a good size for you!

I will try ebay or poshmark. For the price I definitely will be getting Cindy I don't know what possessed me to buy the maise in the first place!
Cash back? ******? That's just it, it would be fine but I don't like big bags and I don't carry much of anything lol in them.

I got maise cuz I liked the style but when I saw the Cindy I had the same exact thoughts... "What was I thinking?!" Lol. I was able to sell mine for $200 on eBay. I had a putty grey color but I wanted baby pink! You'll love Cindy! What color do u want?

I called my Macy's today and they said Riley would come out in fall in medium in maroon and dark green and gray etc. not sure if they knew what they were talking about, but medium peanut was sold out. I'll call another location tomorrow to see if they have it!

For cash back I use e bates or top cash back

My maise is in gingersnap a brown color similar to luggage. I want Black or Electric Blue in Cindy
I've never used e bates I may try it! Definitely will call my Macy's to see if they have the medium Riley

The medium must have been a hot item- the SA said the one I bought was the last one available in Ohio.
