HELP - purchasing my first Rolex!

I like the pink diamond dial with 2t ever rose jubilee bracelet. For me Rolex and diamond go together. Both of my Rolex have diamonds in it. I'd recommend to go for whatever you love. If down the line, you get bored of that dial, you can always switch it to something else. All the Rolex AD switch dials based on the model number (you can only choose those dials which were available for your model so its not "Franken").

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Rolex so go with your heart and congrats for the new career jump.

Hi Mia55, aww thank you! And thanks so much for taking the time to reply! That is good to know that I can change over dials. Although mind you, with the prices on these, it might very well be my one and only Rolex piece haha!

They both look great! I love the bronze ss combo but I’m a real fan of rosegold despite the naysayers who think it’s a trend. If it looks great with your skintone it’s a nice upgrade from all stainless or white tt. I actually find the Rolex yellow gold to be too bright for me and the rosegold works better for my skintone. Rosegold has been around a long time and some premium watchmakers make most of their watches in rosegold or stainless. I think for you there is no wrong choice and rosegold would not be a mistake.

Thanks gourmetgal. I couldn’t ignore the Everose to be honest. It’s such a pretty little thing, isn’t it - although I can understand why some people may not like it as not a lot of people gravitate towards pink. It’s such a personal choice.

I went from the rhodium SS to the two-tone everose gold and a few in between. That is how much the pendulum have swung for me in terms of dial choice.

Of these two, I prefer option 1 (SS with the bronze)

Thanks FunBagz. To be honest, I had not really considered the bronze initially. I was going for the rhodium then. But when I saw the bronze - in the flesh - it actually is stunning.

I have the pic of the rhodium below. My hubby (who is probably the king of understated, fly under-the-radar type) thought it was much too understated for me!

I like one on your last picture. The Pink Dial in SS without diamonds. Clean, Sophisticated and elegant

Thank you! Do you think it clashes too much with the yellow jewelries? I mean, I don’t really mind mixing jewelries, I find it quite funky and fun. The pink is light coloured though, almost beige in certain lights. Pink SS was top most on my list and was shoo-in until I saw the bronze. I have been second-guessing myself ever since. Arrggh!

I am posting below the pink dial with my usual YG jewelries. Your input is much appreciated! ❤️

On you, because of your colouring and the general sense of clothing style that we see from the photos, I prefer the everose or the ss pink dial.

Thanks so much! Quite a few I have asked at work voted for the soft pink SS.

I still gravitate again to bronze somehow. But then look at the pink, and it’s probably reflects my personality the most. Someone here has pointed out that the everose may clash with my yellow jewelries though. And I think that goes for pink too. Honestly, not much of a deal-breaker for me, although they do have a point as that can get cluttered.

Arrgh! Decisions! Decisions!

After looking at the second picture, I agree your skin does look really nice with the pink tones of the pink gold. Someone above mentioned that your yellow gold ring doesn't quite match the rose though. That's my dilemma with the pink gold, is that you almost have to start a third jewelry color for a new watch if it is very different from your current jewelry. I have blonde hair and yellow skin, so for me yellow and silver is a better match. We're all different!

Have you considered a rose gold watch with a chocolate dial? Then you would get that bronze look you love, plus the pink tone of the gold that looks really nice with your skin tone...but I must say that bronze dial SS looks amazing with your silver jewelry. Can you buy BOTH???? ;)

Here's the rose/SS with chocolate dial...

Hi perpetualgirl, I did try that one on. It was first ever choice. But when I tried it on, It didn’t really speak to me you know. It looked off on me. It was too - dark. Can’t explain it - I’ll post a pic.

Oh but we are getting two Rolexes though, it’s just that the other one is for my husband haha! Wish I can have both lol!! His is so much easier - SS with blue dial - done and dusted. Wish I could be like that.

The SS with the pink dial is my favorite on you with your fair skin. I think the lighter dials are easier to read. I am going to sell or trade my SS/yellow gold Rolex with the slate dial 24 mm Oyster Perpetual, because I can’t tell the time on it without my reading glasses on. Good luck making your decision. They are all beautiful watches.

I love the second one. It looks so classy and timeless. Much more than the first with the brown dial that looks a bit drab IMO

Hi Cogmarks! Thanks for the opinion. The oyster Perpetual is such a functional watch ❤️

This is why I started to steer away from the rhodium dial although it’s a thing of beauty. I thought it became hard to read while I was trying it on and walking around at the AD.

Hi Lilleput
I think you doing the right thing by trying different options before you make a decision. Rolex have many choice which can be confusing.
And in my opinion yellow, pink or white jewellery and SS can wear together.
Everyone is different. For me, I wear what I feel comfortable with. For me, I like watch with no Gemstone. I like a good Mechanical watch. (which Rolex fall in that category)
Maybe try SS with Fluted bezel, either Oyster/ Jubilee Bracelet. But with a couple more different dial colour. (White, Silver, Blue, ...)
Do you browsing through Instagram sometime? Try account name ... ikue1891 , aytystyle , doobooloo
Great pictures and give you some idea of different dial colour. A clean classic looking watch that you can dress up and down.

I know right! I am on my 2nd month now - is that that crazy?! It was easier buying my bag - took me 2weeks to settle on “the one”.

With the pinky tone, you mean the SS pink or the everose gold with the sundust dial? For reference, I have attached more pics. I really appreciate your input!!!
Personally I like the Everose gold, it looks more feminine to me. And don't worry about it matching what you wear, I find a Rolex goes with everything! ;). Happy to help!

I think the pink dial is fine with your ring. I absolutely love the choc. and tt everose. I am debating now on an all everose with choc. or mop dial for myself...honestly, cannot decide! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the bronze IRL. How does it compare with the choc?
