Help on resetting old jewellery/diamonds

I think it is perfectly normal to be a bit unsettled by the process of taking apart beautiful memories. But that’s really a fiction. In reality you cannot alter the memory itself, just the item. And, by repurposing it, you are making certain that those memories are more present for you because you will wear the new pieces more.

:drinks: Thank you for sharing this.

Hi! I was hoping to piggyback off of this and ask for any suggestions or ideas for resetting this 25 pointer eternity band. It is 16 diamonds (tcw a little over 4 carats). I am thinking either earrings or a necklace but totally lost for ideas.
Thank you in advance ❤️

I know you said you'd prefer a ring/bracelet but I had the same dilema when my Mother died. She had several diamond rings so I chose one and had the diamonds set into a Tiffany style necklace. A half carat surrounded by the smaller diamonds. You could do something like this and place on top of a thin bangle. Easy for a good jeweler to do!

Congratulations, by the looks of things you made all the right choices and your pieces look beautiful.

I'm glad you didn't get cold feet, you still have the diamonds and gold, but now you can actually admire them on you.

gorgeous pieces and your jeweller did such a great job. i especially like the bracelet and the two row ring, it makes such good use of the little diamonds.
i'm located in singapore as well, if possible could you share with me the jeweller you use?

Curious to see what you've decided too!
It took me a while but I decided to make earrings.
it is a very long story, but I had planned to use a jeweller out of state to do the reset (a close friend). I shipped the ring using Fedex and Fedex lost the package. I was extremely upset that I had lost my item but was comforted by the fact that I had insured my package. Well, Fedex declined the insurance coverage stating that they only insure jewelry for a maximum of $1000 under their Rules Tarif. I was furious and was not accepting the decline of my insurance coverage. After some back and forth, I was able to receive the full insurance payout which I subsequently used to purchase the earrings from a local, in-state Jeweller. But be warned if you ever plan to ship jewelry with Fedex of this awful policy.
See photos attached. I am so thrilled with how they turned out.

Lovely earrings!

I doubt FE "lost" your package, depending on ins coverage info someone just took it. The mail theft going on in my neck of the woods from the big blue mailboxes outside the post offices is crazy--my post office often has a canvas bag over the mailbox saying "out of order".
