Thank you for info and it is very insightful!

Btw, what is the full name of FSH? I can't speech France and no sure if the cab can understand FSH and bring me there? Is it the Hermes headquarter? Pardon me as I'm really new to the Hermes thingy. :blushing:

Thanks!

Hi,

Was in paris last week and they had a big delivery to FSH on wednesday. Birkins all over the shop being snapped up by tourists. This was about 1430. Consequent days werent as busy, I did see some random kellys being sold. As of saturday there were no birkins/kellys/constances; just kelly pochettes was what I was told (but who knows?!)

Georges V is usually busy at 1400, waiting for SAs post-lunch, they didnt seem to have very much there but you never know.

Rue de Sevres only had SLGs, mainly maison but such a beautiful shop you just have to visit if you have the time.

Terminal 2 had lindys, so kelly, gp in toile & leather, jypsieres and evelynes. Mostly in neutral colours but as Lyanna said earlier, no Bs/Ks.

In short, go to FSH. Be lucky and grab one there and then. If all else fails, you can ask if they will put your name down for one.

Have fun.

Hermes is number 24. Yes this is the HQ. You should read up on some other threads here about going to Paris/buying a Birkin; to get more useful info.

Congrats for scoring the birkin.

I guess you were at the right time when you saw the big delivery at FSH on Wednesday .

I was in Paris last week and I made several visits to Hermes @ FSH and the other two stores each day from Tuesday morning until Friday evening.. unfortunately I got the expected "typical" answer from the SA "no birkin"

Sadly enough the purpose of my visit to Paris was specific for birkin hunting and this time I got no luck in getting one.

Hi katyman,

I wasnt looking for a Birkin in Paris, specifically so I didnt get one. I was offered one but it wasnt what I wanted - too big.

Dont be upset about not getting a Birkin. I think late March isnt always the best time to go B hunting in Paris, so perhaps nxt time new strategies should be made?

The sun always shines!!!

wow, thats incredible. It is amazing that on some days they pick and choose who they give it to and then on others they are all over the store. I'm just curious, what other birkin colors did they have out when u were there?

Happy Anniversary...So sweet so lucky with the Birkin. I must congratulate you, after 25 years, you still love her...so much. I always remember : An ordinary man loves million women, the great man love one woman with million ways......

was in paris the 1st of april til the 4th. went to FSH, George V and Sevre and no birkins for sale from the 3 stores. saw a B ostrich at FSH on the window but obviously not for sale. an SA was showing what seemed to be a noir birk with ghw but i think the girl was making an SO. i guess it's one of their birks just for show. they had a lindy croc and a tadelakt kelly pochette and some wallets. george v had on the window an iris kelly cut and lime (or kiwi) pochette both in phw but sadly not for sale. sevre was packed with people but nothing interesting in the bag dept. CDG airport had a mykonos picotin but not surprising no birks.

i was in Paris last week n i think i wasted the 8 days in Paris n didnt buy any Birkin or Kelly back.. dont know how to start n too shy to ask..
any suggestion?

I'm so sorry you didn't bring any birkin nor kelly, but don't think of your 8 days in Paris as wasted, it is a beautiful city with loads more to do than shop for H and I'm sure you had a blast. As you will find out in many threads on the H forum, it pays to be patient, and if you're close to a H shop, go back regularly, develop a relationship with one of the SAs, and try and see if they can help you find what you want. Good luck!

In the Paris boutiques there are a lot of new customers everyday seeing as a lot of tourists visit. So SAs are used to entertaining new buyers and showing them what is available. Just go straight to the handbag area and ask to see what you would be interested in.

As to the kelly to be honest I'm no expert but I'd highly recommend you get everything authenticated in the Authenticate This threads.

I was in Paris on the weekend of the 15/16th and there were no Birkins or Kellys. Infact there wasnt very much of anything. Most of the shelves in the leather department was empty.
