Congratulations, Surfergirljen, on your beautiful new diamond upgrade. It is simply stunning! I was wondering how the diamonds compared to one another, your previous as well as the ones picked to compare, considering they had different numbers on the HCA. Was there REALLY that much difference -- did your old stone perform as well as the diamonds that Tiffany showed you? Or did you just want that 2 ct which I totally understand. I am curious to find out. I know how Tiffany's standards are and have always been, and you would think that they were all rock'n!

It's a good question - I never really looked at the two in all conditions side by side... I'm honestly not sure if the HCA thing affected performance enough to tell the difference as both were incredibly sparkly under all lighting! I think this one does scintilate and throw fire more... it was quite a jump too so I'd hope so! That said my "old" stone was incredibly sparkly and having had no idea about HCA at the time I was more than happy with its performance! It definitely rocked.
