HAHA - yes it's true! And when I get under a hallogen light (is that what those overhead modern lights are called?) look out - I'm like a dog with a squirrel, I stop in my tracks just to stare at it! My sister just had her bathroom redone and I wanted to sit in there all night! LOL... it's just like in the store!

Thanks! Yes it's the smallest shared setting one I think... about $3300? I LOVE the bigger ones too but wanted the e-ring to be the star!

Yea I can't believe I have to either. You think when you select a designer setting after having bad luck with non-designer that the financial outlay might help provide a higher quality of workmanship, but it just shows me that money cannot always buy quality workmanship. And that the designer doesn't really care if you're happy.

Wow Jen your new ring is AMAZING! Truly worth the wait... it looks absolutely perfect on you. Love the fire and sparkle that it shows in the pics!
Also - I get totally excited when I find good lights for bringing the sparkle out in my ring, too! One of my friends recently remodeled his house and put in some nice ceiling lights, and the last time I went over there for a party I was surrounded by a group of bachelors ooh-ing and aah-ing over how sparkly my diamond was! I think they'd never seen a diamond in good lights before... man are they in for it in a few years

Congratulations on a beautiful ring!! Don't wear it to labor & delivery. I've seen and heard about way too many horror stories involving calling firemen to come to cut off beautiful rings. The one I was involved in was thankfully a replica of a ring sitting in her safe deposit box. Smart woman! Good luck

Haha - thank you! That's excellent advice... my insurance agent said that as soon as I told her how preggars I was today too! I was thinking more of people slipping it off my finger when I was asleep or out of it but that's an awful story! GAH!

Congratulations, Surfergirljen, on your beautiful new diamond upgrade. It is simply stunning! I was wondering how the diamonds compared to one another, your previous as well as the ones picked to compare, considering they had different numbers on the HCA. Was there REALLY that much difference -- did your old stone perform as well as the diamonds that Tiffany showed you? Or did you just want that 2 ct which I totally understand. I am curious to find out. I know how Tiffany's standards are and have always been, and you would think that they were all rock'n!
