Pebble leather...the leather is soft and not treated. You have to wash these bags with soap and water only. If you are going to toss them around I would get black. The turnlock bag (1) and the hobo (3) are both a nice size. I saw them today loved both but think the hobo would hold up better over time.

If you like the legacy bag the girls posted I have a station bag thats still going strong. That leather is great and they may have it at the outlet.

All the bags I posted were taken directly off coach.com.

UGH! I can't believe I forgot to post the soft duffle bags-I like those too! Shoot-here:

Hmm-I think I like the style of these the best-they also have it in pebbled leather. Should I get the small or the large one? the large one seems too large almost. My only problem with these bags is that they only have them in black and white-I have tons of black bags and don't like white bags-i wish they had it in that mahogany color

Well, I can't figure out why that large one looks so huge on the Coach bag scaler. My soft duffle is the large one and it's 11" x 11", which is the same size as the large one on their site now, but it doesn't look anything like that on me (I'm 5'5"). Sometimes I think their scaler is a bit off.

I would get #3 because it is big, and I like/need a big bag, LOL!

I was actually looking at this bag on coach.com today. Am I the only weirdo that would love to buy a Coach leather bag (like #3) in navy blue?

I wear jeans most of the time and I love navy blue leather bags - so no you are not the only one who wishes Coach made more bags in blue. I have bought several vintage bags off of e-bay in navy since they used to offer much more in navy.

I like to carry alot around with me and I find the Coach bags I have are deceptively small. I have a Patricia's Legacy (this one and Janice's Legacy are available in navy) and it looks like it will hold alot but for me it doesn't.

I would go with your 3rd choice in the pebbled leather. I like it in both the tan and black. My new patchwork shoulder tote is 11" X 11" and holds just the right amount for me. Peggy

I didn't look at the pics you posted but you are in NYC so its better to go the Coach store or even Macy's so you can see and feel the leather bags in IRL. Some are quite heavy because the bag is nice thick leather. A great piece is the Soho all black leather large hobo. This bag is built to last. I have one from 3 years ago and it is still going strong. Once you seee something you like get the style # and go on Ebay because you'll prolly be able to get it cheaper and no tax!

The soft duffle might be a tiny bit small for what you want, depends on how big that makeup bag is. I used to carry a fair amount of stuff in mine and it looked and felt great.
My boss has the smaller version of the Chelsea turnlock bag (#1 up top) and it looks great, I think this one would carry all of your stuff very well. The large Soho hobo (#3) is the most versatile, and extremely yummy. It is rather pricey, though.
The Janice's Legacy bag is a nice choice if you want something more sedate and all-purpose. I also like the Patricia's Legacy bag, my mom has one and it's exactly the right size for her, and she carries around a lot of stuff!
