^ Thank you so much!! I will!! I know that Nani found hers at Harrods, but I couldn't even find any CLs on their website. I am not that great at international tracking-down of shoes. :p

I learned something new today.:smartass: I never knew VAT was applied only in Europe, but then again I have only purchased CL in the USA and Europe.

jenay, if you REALLY want the leopard MBP, I would take the plunge and pay the price. I highly doubt these shoes will be around much longer.

I think DJ prices are just higher in general. Jenay PM and I will give you the SAs info for Harrods. You might do better to call around for these. Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nicohls had them I believe.

Thank you, kar. You are absolutely correct. I've missed out on way too many pairs because I anticipated them going on sale.

Hi Jenay

I am the one who purchased the Leopard MBPs 150mm from David Jones in Australia a few days ago. At first when I called they said they were $1500 Australian dollars plus $80.00 australian dollars for shipping. I said no way am I paying $1600.00 for a pair of pumps! as the conversion rate is almost exactly the same. But I sold my maggies and one of my old LVs the very next day and I said the heck with it this is a sign that I need the MBPs so I called again to double check the price and see if they can remove the VAT to bring down the cost of the shoe. So when I called back she said she would try scanning them and they scanned $1395.00 Australian dollars and the box was marked incorrectly. I asked about removing the VAT tax but its not VAT its GST and she said they will only remove GST if you are there as a tourist and show your airline ticket :confused1::tdown: but I really really wanted them so bad so I just bought them and the total charged on my card was $1457.00 USD I think they only have a size 38.5 left and here is the direct # to the shoe dept so you don't get transferred around and get put on hold . HTH

I think so!!!! :graucho: DH hated to admit it especially with me being without a job and all but he is super excited for me to get these he even wants me to wear them to his best friends BD party :graucho: lol here's a few pics to help you decide the pic of Meaghan Fox is what made me crazy over them :nuts: I posted the pics on my FB and the one picture of the shoe itself got 49 comments :nuts: the most comments ever on any pic I have posted! even my lurker friends came out of the wood works to comment how I needed to get them even for that steep price. DH said they are "timeless" because they are leopard which I never even ever heard him say that word ever :lolots::lolots:

From the pictures I have seen, they look very ----- fluffy, like a stuffed animal. How are they IRL? Are they like house slippers?? :p

Definitely not like slippers... I tried the MBP in Leopard at the Hollywood boutique when they first arrived and on the foot... they are absolutely, TDF, gorgeous but I think they are at their sexiest in the 150mm IMHO.

How were they comfort wise? I'm really debating whether I should try to score the 120s for practicality reasons or 150s for, well, obvious reasons! :graucho:

Megan Fox makes them look ridiculous above.. Just TDF!
