a speedy is really easy to use and goes with everything, but I love my papillion 30. You can wear it on your shoulder casue the straps are longer, as well as carry it in your hand. and you get a wee accessories pouch as well. I love mine!

The Ellipse PM is my one and only LV.... A recent gift from my husband (was supposed to be for my birthday in a few months, but he ordered it early, and I couldn't let him just leave it in a closet for three months, could I?). I don't think it holds as much as a Speedy, but I love its structured look.

i love my speedy. it holds everything, dresses up or down, very classic etc. etc. but it is a big bag and tends to sag if there's not a lot in there. i like the sag, but many don't. the epi doesn't sag as much and myrtile is such a beautiful color. or maybe the papillion would be better for your needs? the ellipse is nice, but pretty dressy i think. i also like the alma a LOT but you have to worry about the vachetta bottom.

i wouldn't go with the vernis. i think of it more of a special occasion bag. there are color transfer issues and it's not super durable imho.

i think you should take most of the stuff you usually carry with you to the boutique and tryon bags with all your stuff in there. see what you like best. it is a really personal desicison and one will just jump out at you more than the others.

You look like a Manhattan PM owner... you should look at it and maybe you will like it, my sister has it and she loves it, or maybe the ellipse, thats really cute! I would say the speedy but not the best, in my opinion. Thats nice but a little simple. Timeless and practical anyway

I think an epi Speedy in myrtle would look fabulous on you with your dark hair. I have a red epi Speedy and a mono Speedy, and I find that the epi Speedy can be casual or dressy. I think in myrtle you would get a lot more use out of it since you wear jeans a lot. The mandarin is also pretty but may not be as versatile. Let us know what you decide.
