Help me decide! Sappire Earrings

I really like the 1st pair - I think hoops are classic. The second set looks a little prom-y to me.

hmm both? haha.. well I love the second pair, but I would say its much more formal than the first pair, so Im not sure if you are getting these for a special occasion or anything.. hmm but I would probably go for the 1st ones if you are going to wear them everyday. Or the 2nd pair if you are going to wear while dressing up a bit!! gorgeaus though!

The hoops (the first pair) would seem to me to be more versatile.

The second pair seem to fancy to be worn everyday.

i love the first pair! i think they'll be easier to wear everyday as well as dress up. and i'm a bit partial to hoops in general. the second pair are gorgeous, but i find them a tad fancy to wear with jeans and tees.

That's tough, especially if you like both. I guess it would depend on what you plan on using them for. If you wear more casual attire I'd go with the first and if you plan on wearing these sapphires for more dressy occassions I'd go with the second.

Because I usually wear diamonds with my casual attire, I'd go with the 2nd pair. They look so elegant and dainty, yet bold and sophisticated. Good luck choosing . You can't go wrong either way.

I think if you are going to go for sapphires, go for the knockout #2. The hoops are fine, but why go boring if you want to make a statement? You probably have lots of other earrings that are in the #1 category, so get a pair that will make you feel special once in a while.

Sapphire hoops? Come on! BORING. Get the second pair. It will add elegance to whatever you wear. Whether it be a little black dress or jeans. 2nd 2nd 2nd 2nd!!!

i am re-evaluating my comment. i was watching the season six part one of sex and the city last night (from great sexpectations to hop skip and a week). carrie wore what i would consider to be a very fancy sapphire necklace with a variety of outfits...including cargo capris and a cut off jersey.

yes i know it's tv, and i know it's carrie but this necklace was along the same line of fancy as these earrings....it looked fabulous! and not fabulous in a "couldn't pull it off in real life" way. so now, i like (and want!) the second ones.

I LOVE the second pair! The sapphires really stand out a lot more on the second pair.

Thanks guys!! I decided to keep the second pair. They are still on sale at macys -- super cheap -- if anyone wants em. They're a bit smaller than they appear in the photo, but still really pretty. I'm happy with them now
