Help Me Decide: Coussin BB or Pochette Metis East West

I guess I’m just very into the east west style right now. Also, because of the emptiente leather, it will be such a good every day bag. That leather is so durable. I believe all coussin have smoother leather.
No, but I have a empriente cles and I’ve had for a while now and the leather has held up wonderfully - still looks newish
I own the black coussin bb and I love it. I returned the PM EW quickly after purchasing it - I was really disappointed in the end on how little that bag fit. For some reason the dividers inside the PM take up too much space for me. The coussin I adore - it’s easy to use, dresses up for a dinner out nicely bc of the type of leather, and is not a delicate as I expected it to be. It will prob be with me for a long time. (I will note, I have a LE PM reg size, not Empreinte, so I do have this style in my closet. If the EW had been just a liiiiiiittle bit larger it would have been tempting to keep that, and to have sold my LE one, lol.)
I have both bags and use my PM EW a lot more than my Coussin. I don't think that the shape of the Coussin allows you to put as many items inside, and you are constantly searching for items in you bag. When I open my PM EW, I can easily access my items, and see what is in my bag. I love the chunky feel of the PW EW too. I am going to be selling my Coussin as I really don't use it often enough to justify the price. I hope this helps!
That's my biggest issue--it's really small and doesn't fit very much. I don't carry much in my smaller bags, I would have to stuff I the few items I love carrying.
I can fit my sunglasses in a slim case, a few lip products, my phone, a compact mini Bearn (or a cles or a passport holder or a cardholder,) Kleenex, my keys, gum or mints, and a slim case hand sanitizer in there. I put my wallet and sunnies and keys and a lip in the center, and I slide the Kleenex, hand sanitizer, mints or gum on the outside section, and the one closer to my whatever else I might need w my phone. That’s just my org structure - but it works for me. If it’s not daytime and I’m not carrying my sunnies, there’s lots of room for other things. I appreciate the PM EW but I found it fit about the same amount of stuff but slightly less bc of how I had to jenga things to get them in, and then unpack it to use it - just me. I just wanted a little more flexibility in how I was utilizing the interior and I found that slightly better for me in the Coussin. If I carry more stuff I need to go to the next sized bag up.
I took my husband for his opinion and he said it wasn't even a competition, and chose the Coussin. I'm struggling with $4,000. He's like, "Well, $3k-$4k seems to be average for LV nowadays, and you need to get it before it goes up again." Of course, I know, but...$4,000!! Once I wrap my mind around that, I'll be fine...maybe.😄
For the leather goods, he is not wrong. And it’s just upwards from there, and seems to show no signs of ending increases, lol. But that’s another conversation. It was an “extra” $1000 for the coussin but I do love that leather, it feels really lux. And I think in the bb size will wear well and keep its shape. But you have to love it and want to wear it. So if the EW is more likely to get used or you won’t be able to stop thinking about it, I’d say pause and think. It was the other way around for me. I decided that what I really wanted was the coussin and the EW wasn’t going to scratch that itch, so I saved a bit longer and went for that. Good luck!!!
