They are similar bags.

The Madison Convertible Hippie is the better bag if you want a cross body bag b/c it hangs longer; but you can use the Daily in that mode too. As the mod shots from the poster ^ above indicate.

The Daily bag will slouch a bit like the Madison hobo when there's stuff in it. The Hippie doesn't.

The Daily is a larger bag than the Hippie. I personally don't see carrying the Daily as a clutch; it's too square. But that's just me.

The strap on the Daily can be doubled, so the bag will sit higher on the body when it's worn on the shoulder. It can also be carried on the arm, when the strap is doubled. I like that functionality.

The Hippie has a bit of hardware on the strap and the corner of the bag that give it a bit of flair/style that I like. I like the black leather with gold h/w on the Hippie best of all.

I'd think either bag would make a great travel bag; lightweight and each will accommodate quite a bit of stuff inside.

They are similar bags, but each has its individuality.

Ultimately you have to try them both on and decide for yourself, you know?!

As you can see, for my body type, Madison Hippie is the choice. If Bleecker had been longer I would have chosen it for the colors alone. I don't know why I thought the PCE started today but that's fine. They didn't have the Hippie in grey birch anyway so I can order from the comfort of my bed!

I like your choice, it's great for you! I do alot of shopping from the comfort of my bed, lol. I practically live in Mayberry.

Thanks for the info! As you can see I tried them both. Bottom line, I REALLY wish I could have Madison in tan. I agree that Bleecker is way too square for me to use as a clutch. It's also too big for my taste as a clutch. I love the colors and I love the slouch factor but Madison won me over. I have a feeling that It will be available in even more colors eventually but I'm way too impatient for that! Lol

Glad you got to try on. That really seals the deal. I have the tan Bleecker but looked at the hippie before. They are both great bags.

They really are great bags. I'll have to get my tan fix in another bag. I really wish that it was just one bag with the crossbody drop of Madison and the color option of Bleecker but not a wide as Bleecker.

I think my iPhone deleted pics I took all on it's own. Crazy. This is the best pic I could use. I thought the hippie was available in tan but it's not. I think after trying them out, I'm sold on the Hippie! View attachment 2532841
I agree, the hippie is the better choice. The strap length on the other one seems odd. I also like the way the strap attaches on the hippie - it is more stylish. Do you think it will hold very much?

The Madison bag! Oops, I see you already made your choice! Well, yay, I was right! Lol The Bleeker strap is really short. It even seems kind of short on the model.

I dont like crossbody bags that sit on my ribcage. I have big boobs, and adding a bag is just too much going on !

I tried on the Madison today. I really like it. I love all the strap options. It really holds quite a bit and even with all my stuff in, it didn't get weirdly shaped like hippie bags I've tried in the past. It was difficult leaving it behind, especially since it was on sale, but they only had the scarlet color and I really need a neutral color.

Exactly. Even after the breast reduction my boobs are still big so the crossover length is important. The Madison is the bag for me.

They only had black at my store. Are you going to order it. I'm thinking of running by Dillard's to see if they have the color I want. They usually run a 25% at the same time as PCE here.
