So, I ordered one! Thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I'm really looking forward to unpacking that beauty and I will be sure to take tons of photos. I'm just not sure how long it might take, as it seems like they're fairly backed up from the thanksgiving sale and SAS...

In the end, I went with the Double Swagger! @MonsieurMode 's comment regarding the fact that the Cooper really didn't include any novel design elements, despite it being a 1941 bag, was what impacted my decision the most. Honestly, I may still go for it at a later time, but there wasn't as big of a sense of lust over that bag as with the Double Swagger, if you know what I mean.
It just seems so luxe. I also dress basically in all solid neutrals, all the time, so the colourblocking should add a little pop to my look.I suppose the available quantities also factored into it somewhat. At the time I ordered, I was told there were 300+ Bordeaux Coopers at JAX, and 100+ black Double Swaggers. My store also has Coopers in stock, but my SA said she's never seen any variant of the Double Swagger come through.
Still waiting for the bag to ship!!

I'm so happy to hear that you made a decision! I actually almost didn't reply to this thread out of sheer laziness.
I saw the Double Swagger at my local Nordstrom over the weekend, and I hope that no one caught me drooling as I played with it hehe. I'm waiting for the Double Swagger 43 to come in solid leathers without embellishments, as the regular size is too small for me. The design looks very casual luxe if you undo the Swagger clasp on each side and let the belt hang off each end... reminds me of a Birkin with the belt hanging!
Coach shipments have been majorly delayed with the Black Friday sale and Cyber Monday. Don't stress on the additional wait time. Enjoy your new bag in the best of health and happiness

I never even considered letting the belts hang! It'd add an air of nonchalance, for sure. I like it. I'll probably end up removing the hangtag and keyholder as well, as I don't think the bag needs additional things hanging off of it -- the C-link strap is enough of a statement.
Dying waiting for this bag to ship. I am literally dreaming about it.
Same dying waiting for my double swagger too. I pre-ordered the pink one and it won't be shipped out for another week. My concern is that bag may go too large. I saw Neiman Marcus display this bag as 16inches wide while coach website says 12inches. I don't know which is true, but 16inches is definitely too big for me, I am only 5 feet 2
We're the same height.
Yeah, 16" puts it at 4 cm wider than even the Rogue 36... We'll see how it goes! I'm sort of determined to make it work, and I do tend to carry a lot on workdays.
