Another vote for VCA. The workmanship is fabulous, and not that many girls have them. It seems to me that a gold disc with diamonds, while pretty, is a rather commonplace design.

I like the VCA. the MOP looks very pretty and classy, whereas I feel that the SE may be too blingy for everyday.

Yup! But now I'm feeling greedy and am having a hard time controlling my lust for the 20 motif yg/mop necklace! I know, quite a jump from one to the other!!

I would get the 20 motif yg/mop. It is soooo versatile! Mine is in wg, and I love layering it with the turquoise. I really think you will get more use out of the 20 motif. It is something that you can still layer, and that will grow with you.

haha, i know that feeling quite well! well, i think the 20 motif yg/mop is a classic and you'll get a lot of use/enjoyment out of it. that's my favorite combo for a 20 motif!!!

They're both beautiful and can be worn every day, but I prefer SE, for that amount of money, I'd like to have some diamonds and these look sparkly! But if you want something more recognizable I'd choose VCA.
Perhaps its because I'm from Europe, but I've never heard from Sydney Evans. Might be just me...
The ball chain is not so strong, I've had one once (yg) and it broke within couple of weeks!

I have a Love Rocks NY ball chain for a few years now, no problems at all! I think they are such a pretty design for a chain.

I love the VCA piece but the 'Sweet' is very small!

If you are looking for a very dainty piece, then it would be perfect!

ITA about the ball chains breaking because I had one break and I was very careful with it, took it off at night etc.
