Help me choose a dainty YG pendant for everyday...

I'm looking for an everyday, dainty YG pendant necklace to wear alone or layer with other pieces. I'm stuck between the more recognizable, but always classic Sweet Alhambra in MOP and Sydney Evan's small Disc diamond pendant with ball chain. The Sydney Evan is more understated.

They are both pretty. The chain on the SE piece seems sturdier but I love the classic look of the alhambra.

I like the Sydney Evan better, just because it will be cute and sparkly and will go with absolutely everything. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the ball chain though (they also tend to break with everyday wear because the joints aren't as flexible as regular chains). But you really can't go wrong with either!

Yes, I've had ball chains spontaneously snap on me, especially around the clasp. These were sterling silver chains, but I think has more to do with the design of the chain, and not with the quality of the materials/workmanship. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! If you're planning on wearing it every day, though (especially if you take it off to sleep, shower, etc), I'd look into getting a different type of chain.

The more I look at that diamond disc, the more I like it though! It's just so simple yet I think it would sparkle a lot, and it would amazing layered.

I would choose the VCA, I just prefer the way it looks.

I've never had a ball chain but my jeweler told me the same thing.

I voted for the sweet alhambra, because I think it is prettier. Seems to have more "life" to it compared to the round disc with the diamonds on it.

I love the Sweet Alhambra. It's so classic and special. I feel like the Sydney Evan one is very generic.

They're both so different. As others have mentioned, I would be concerned with the durability of the ball chain, and therefore, choose VCA sweet over the SE.

The VCA. I don't like the look of the pave diamonds, the gold and the ball chain together. To me, the VCA is a hands down winner, although the SE might be more durable? How practical is MOP for everyday wear?
