I know it’s been a (long) while and I don’t know if anyone is still interested, but I promised to update this thread when I made my purchase and I finally have! With everything going on and Chanel’s latest price increase, I wasn’t sure if I would still be able to find a bag worth buying. I did though and of course it isn’t the bag I had originally thought I wanted.
Yesterday, I went into a Chanel boutique with some girlfriends to look at the Classic Flaps and ended up falling in love with the mini Reissues
I didn’t expect to buy anything until the SA brought out a brand new one in navy blue with antique gold HW. It just so happened to be the very last one and absolutely perfect. I tried it on and just knew 
My friends also just knew, and to quote one of them verbatim, she said: ‘This is it. It’s your calling.’ 
Anyway, I’m so glad I took my time and waited until the right one came along. Also, it has been so nice to go shopping and just hang out with friends again.
