I missed this whole thread, but I would have said the red Alma. It seemed like you were leaning that way from the beginning. ;)

Do you have plans for the second wave? I just saw the preview pics and love the multicoloured pumpkin print. Problem is I do not like traditional monogram canvas. However, there is a Keepall 25 in the black and grey monogram (eclipse?) that's calling my name. Would you say the Keepall 25 holds a similar amount to the small puzzle?

I did not regret this Alma, such a beauty! Only thing bad for my cc is this simultaneous release of the Loewe x Ghibli collab…

I am not sure yet whether I will get anything from the second wave. I love the blue dotted Speedy 20, but I have some Speedys already and my leisure money probably will to go Loewe, so I hope there is nothing coming, that really sparks my interest…! I like the pumpkins too though.

I think the Keepall 25 is easier to fill, probably a bit spacier than the small Puzzle because of the wider opening. I can make some comparison pictures later when I come home.

In my reveal thread I have posted pictures what fits into the Keepall 25:

I finally made some comparison photos of the small puzzle and the Keepall 25.
The Puzzle looks bigger higher and shorter, while the Keepall a bit longer, but less high. But the Puzzle has a much more smaller opening than the Keepall 25. They both fit all my essentials consisting of passport incl. cover, small umbrella, ZCP by LV, tissues, small bottle of desinfectant, iPhone 13 and a sunglasses case, of needed. More would be stuffed. However finding something inside the bag is way easier in the Keepall. So in terms of fitting I would say they both about fit the same given their different „anatomy“. Hope that helps!

Btw. I love the yellow pumpkin from the second wave… But I guess that one is superexclusive and also too expensive for me after splurging on the first wave and the Loewe Ghibli collection…

Great comparison! The only thing I might struggle with if I used it as a work bag would be my diary - it's one of those weekly planner notebooks from Muji, A5 size I think, and it fits right against the back of the puzzle. I suppose it does bend so I could just curve it as long as I didn't leave it there! It is a pain to get it in and out of the puzzle, although I don't really struggle with small items.

I love the pumpkin shaped bag! But yes, expensive ... and probably not practical for me. Not to mention all the HMC purchases ...

I just tried with my two near A5 calendars. How thick is your notebook? The thin one on my photo has A5 length, but is a bit less wider, the thick calender is a bit shorter (about 1 cm), but has the correct A5 width.
Both fit into the Keepall if using the shorter side first to insert it. The thicker one is bendy, the thinner one hardback. The hardback can be pushed to the back, the bendy one just bends into the shape…

I have no idea though, how you manage to squish that into the small puzzle… I gave up trying. The Keepall however is a very practical and carefree bag.

I just discovered this thread and that you got the Alma bb as well - the red looks stunning on you and suits you so well
I saw this thread too! And it makes me think of our convo with the YK Alma bb in black! The YK red is stunning. I don’t have anything this color, it would be a huge step from my mostly black daily bag collection, but red and yellow are definitely more “YK”. I have to decide if this Alma would be more of an everyday bag or solely for dressy occasions. My question for the original post - is this a daily bag for you? Or more if a special occasion bag?

Congratulations on getting the YK keepall. It’s awesome that they did a YK piece for that bag. I just got my plain one and it’s such a functional piece. The length and depth are just perfect for being able to see and reach everything easily. I wish the would make women’s bags with as much consideration to functionality. Hope you’re enjoying your gorgeous new bag.

That’s true! I think the black YK Alma can do both, dressy and casual. I plan on wearing her for running errands as well as going out for dinner etc. The red one is gorgeous, but in my eyes it’s more of a casual bag. However, I can highly recommend a pop of color if your collection is mostly black bags - that’s why I got the Empreinte Pochette Metis in red instead of black.

I think it would be more of a occational bag for me, but mostly because I need bigger bags for my daily routine. I am usually a minimum medium size bag kind of girl.
The Alma BB does fit all essentials, but not for work. I would take it out for night out, dinner, theater, a stroll in the city or vacations.

Yesterday it went out with me for the first time! Matchingly an opening cocktail in the LV Espace. It got so many compliments and I loved it being colorful on my otherwise neutral wardrobe! Definitely will takenit whenever I can, just because it is such a happy bag!

Thank you! And congrats to your plain one! I was so surprised that it is so roomy despite being technically not a very big bag, so both looking cute and not looking like luggage. So functional.
I totally agree with you! My most favourite is the large opening! So much easier to get things! Women‘s bag often have really tiny openings and especially with the mobile phones getting bigger and bigger it really is just bothersome. I guess they think you can get away just with a cute design, the right color or something so that women will just buy it despite it being not practical. Sadly, they usually are right…
