Help deciding between LV x YK Alma BB black, Alma BB red and Speedy 20 red *Update pic of my choice!*

And some comparison pics withe the Keepall 25 and my Loewe puzzle, which came with me. Funnily the Keepall looks huge beside the Alma BB…

After thinking that week, I already decided to go with the Alma, because I don‘t have one yet, the size is reasonable and I already have some Speedys. Also the Alma looks very chic and wearable when I tried it in store, just wasn‘t sure about the color. But really if buying a signature Kusama piece, I thought it has to be yellow or red. Yellow does not match my wardrobe at all and I thought red, too, but actually it is pretty good with neutrals And because of its classic shape and the Epi leather it looks very chic despite the poppy color and pattern!
Also the red really stand out more than the black, which would go down a bit with my wardobe because I wear alot of black, which would be a pity for that beautiful bag! Also I already have the monochrome Keepall for a less toned down look.
So I finally decided for red and I LOVE it! So so so gorgeous in person…! It is so vibrant, it just makes me happy looking at it! And very happy, I went for it, because in the beginning I totally did not had it on my radar as interesting. So lucky I could score one!

They look both beautiful on you and they are both gorgeous bags. I think you can‘t go wrong with either one.
My decision for red was that it stands out more with my usual outfits as I wear alot of black. And with a black outfit the bag kind of vanishes into the background. If I wore more light clothes I could also imagine black, especially, as I think black is easier to carry. But I think overall it is just personal preference as they are both equally fabulous. I also thought yellow and red is more classic for Kusama, but that is for sure also an individual decision.

Do you have a preference after seeing and carrying them in person? I was very happy, that I could take a look at them in person and go back after a week after thinking about it and looking at some more photos online how other people wear it.

Yes, after I tried them on, my heart went to red. The red is much nicer when putting it on my lap when sitting down too.

For me, Kusama color is yellow or red. Too bad…the yellow was sold out everywhere in Asia :(

The only concern is that the red may scream too loud since I wear black or navy most of the time. Black will blend well with any outfit for daily use… but it’s true that it vanishes into the background.

Haha, we had the same thoughts. And a similar colored wardrobe obviously. :biggrin: I was also afraid the red would be too loud, but it is just a great tone in person.
I actually initially was also set to buy the black one as the safer option and it was really in store that I changed my mind!

One of my friends got the yellow one. But I already have a yellow piece from the last collection, so yellow was not on my radar this time.

Did you get it in the end? :smile:

I will pop in to LV tomorrow and probably decide. Right now am settled on a Alma because I have no Alma yet. I think I tend to red because it somehow speaks to me and I think I can pull the color off because its tone is beautifully choosen and actually matches with most neutrals. I often wear black anyway. What do you think?

I have the red and the yellow because I couldn't decide.....

No remorse. I tried the speedy and it was too bulky for me.

Haha, I am still thinking whether I also need the black one… But I have enough black bags…
Did you already take them out? I still haven‘t had the chance, but can‘t wait!
