1. Do you even like the bag?

I love the overall shape and style, I think it's very cute and functional (although I'm not a mother so I woudln't really know). :p

2. What would you change?

I think maybe the leather could be a little softer (nothing too soft as it might lose its practicality, but I feel like something too stiff would be difficult to keep on the shoulder/uncomfortable). And I'm not sure if there are feet, but I'd really want for there to be metal feet on the bottom of the bag.

Also, I know you said that's not the final hardware. I think I'd prefer something with chunkier/oversized hardware to add a little fun to the bag.

3. What color would you choose if you were to get one?

I'd probably want one in black as a nice netrual, or a pretty shade of blue. As for brown, it would really depend on the shade...if it were a whiskey-ish shade I might go for it.

4. Which top do you prefer

I think I'd prefer the second because if I were a mother I know i'd be dumping lotsa things in this bag and the first top looks like the type of bags I don't like that have the narrow openings so either I can't really get a good view inside, or I scratch my hand on the zipper while pulling stuff out. The second top seems much more open, hence much easier access (and of course easier to find things).

5. What color lining would you like? (nylon so it is washable)
Patterned/ Print or just a solid color?

Nylon of course, either I think either pattern or print could work, but whatever you go with I'd want a bright color. As for patterns I'd probably want stripes or flowers or polka dots or some sort, but nothing that makes the inside of the bag so crazy that you can't readily see what's inside.

Your diaper bag idea is cute. But here are my suggestions:

1. Do you even like the bag? No, don't like the rivets and the hardware. I think a diper bag should be simple even though you don't want it to look like a diaper bag.

2. What would you change? I would make the side pockets deeper like others suggested. I don't care for the flap closure, I prefer either open pockets of drawstring like closure. See attached picture. If I have a baby in one arm, I would like to get to the bottle/sippy cup as quickly and hassle free as I can. Also, very light but durable leather if you choose the leather route. Diaper bag can get pretty bulky and heavy quickly. I much prefer either nylon or fabric bags. Anyway, back to the leather. Definitely something wipeable and stain resistent, spills will happen. Feet are nice, too. The detechable bag idea you have is cute, but the one you have is too fussy for my taste. How about a plastic insert in the front of the bag for a baby picture. Diaper changing pad is a cute idea. I had one in my KS diaper bag but never used it. I think a padded fabric one you can toss in the wash would be ideal. Lot of interior pockets or a divider so you have 2 or 3 compartments. Maybe an outer pocket for keys and phone.

3. What color would you choose if you were to get one? Probably black or a chocolate brown to hide dirt or spills.

4. Which top do you prefer? A zipper top is great, easy access is important for me anyway.

5. What color lining would you like? (nylon so it is washable)
Patterned/ Print or just a solid color? I like either white/beige or printed nylon. It is much easier to see what's inside the bag that way. How about a lining that's detechable from the interior so it can be cleaned by hand or tossed in the wash? Kinda like a Burberry coat where the lining zips around the coat but it can also be removed?

Hi there, here's my 2 cents:

1. Do you even like the bag? It's cute, but I tend to like nylon bags because they are lighter.
2. What would you change? Like most said, wider, taller, deeper. But the material needs to be light. With having a baby and toting all the stuff around, it's nice to be able to have a bag not so heavy. The leather used on Balenciaga bags would be ideal.
3. What color would you choose if you were to get one?
a. Black - I don't like dealing with stains
4. Which top do you prefer Top that folds over. Easy to close, but easy access
5. What color lining would you like? (nylon so it is washable)
Patterned/ Print or just a solid color? I would choose a lighter color (pink probably)

Something with a pattern and in the color purple (no matter what the bag leather color is) you can create a pattern that you can use over and over, it can be your trademark. People only know designer bags because something is always the same, it's a trademark!

The edges are black right now but I was thinking to make the edges red. You know, like the part of your shoulder strap where they have like a melted edge? Does that make sense? make the edging according to the bag color

ANY AND ALL COMMENTS, whether good or bad will really help. This is a huge deal for me and I really need imput. I cannot imagine who else to ask but you guys! You guys are my purse gurus!

Especially if you are a mommy, I am not one so I don't know what I wish I'd have in a baby bag. There are lots of pockets inside!! And pockets on the outside...

1. Do you even like the bag? I like it ~ not your mommy's diaper bag! Very stylish
2. What would you change? Key for me would be easy access into the bag or side pockets to grab a bottle quickly or a sippy cup. Imagine juggling a baby in one arm and trying to get something out in a hurry. Also, maybe somewhere to clip a pacifier or favorite toy would be nice.

4. Which top do you prefer Second style. Functional is top preference for a diaper bag. If it's hard to get into, you won't use it. A place for everything and everything in its place! :D

It's ok, I don't generally like all leather bags though.

Deeper as a bag, it looks pretty small at this point.

Either blue (light) or black.

Ziptops, quite important in this case since it has to be really convenient !

Solid colour, I like really bold colours on the inside, it makes for a nice contrast if the colour on the outside is more conservative.

I like it! Reminds me of the recent Marc by MJ bags.

I don't know if the material (leather) will suit mommies, especially if they have a messy little toddler. While spills and such can be cleaned off the leather, it looks like it's not scratch-resistant.

At the moment the second top seems more functional but have you thought about a magnetic closure? I think that'll be cute and it'll be easy for moms to get into

Patterned! Patterned interiors are so cute. Since it's a baby bag maybe focus around baby colors and baby patters?

I like it a lot and I would go for black, brown or pink. I like the studs because I actually hate those mumsy looking nylon fabric diaper bags. That's why I never used one I just used my Coccinelle bag at the time. I like the second closure.

I like the white one as long as it wipes clean easily, white is lovely for a baby - I like the style and the zipper top is good and secure - the lining (especially) should be easy to wipe and probably nylon - the bag should be roomy and have pockets for a cell phone, a bottle, etc. I like the studs, I think it has great potential.
