Definitely ger a smaller wallet. It is a plus that it opens up for regular use for more of your bags [emoji1]

I found a Bottega Veneta wallet at the outlet in an amazing color.

This is my winner!

This thread makes me miss the old “what’s in your bag” threads. So fun.

So glad you found a solution! What does the inside of the wallet look like?

I always love hearing about what is important to others. It helps me limit what I carry. Most days, I swear I would be well suited in a nuclear disaster scenario.

I took out my Akris bag over the weekend and I loved it! Gonna post some pics and a review later today!

The extra pockets make it a winner. There is a back slip pocket the full length that is great for your phone. There is also a zip on the back wall, another full zip on the front wall. And 2 slip pockets. Event though I hate to many pockets, these slender ones are practical and don’t compromise the interior space at all. In a smaller bag I love to be able to keep my phone in the back to save space and for practicality.

It is beautiful, I love it. Great choice! [emoji173]️

I didn’t know they had an outlet.

I think they only have a handful in the US. I think 2 in California. Maybe Connecticut and Vegas as well.

I hadn’t been in, but mine is pretty new.

And it is definitely boutique discards not outlet exclusives. The seasonal colors go on the steepest discount.

I was surprised to even see a few seasonal Knots. And the bag I am sort of covering was there to (the Olimpia and City Knot bags).

We don’t have outlets for luxury bags in Denmark (as far as I am aware). Are there such a thing as an outlet exclusive? Are they marked as that somehow?

Yes, a lot of stores here in the US make outlet exclusive lines. Most of them do now, but they used to be places where irregular and previous season stuff goes. The stores are generally operated by the brand.

Notably Coach and Prada have outlet exclusive merchandise that are like the boutique items. Prada manufactures its outlet stuff in cheaper places (e.g. not Italy).

Thank you fot explaining. It is really interesting. I understand why they take season colors there, but I think it is weird-amusing (in lack of betger words) that they make items specifically for outlets [emoji1]

Yes and it is lower quality. Several years ago Coach really diluted their brand with low quality merchandise plastered with their logo.

Well here is a quick update:

The wallet interior:

There is also a zipper coin pouch on the side that is a full panel and accordion style. What is nice about this wallet is that filling it with cards does not impact the width!! The cards were snug when I put them in on Sunday but it has loosened up already to make removal easy.

And here is my bag!

I have the wallet, a notebook, a pen, a lotion - kinda big profile, chapstick, my work badge, and the pouch which has hand sanitizer, eye drops, a perfume, a nail file and a lip gloss. Then there is a lip balm. Keys fit easily. I’ll likely use one of my smaller lotions to conserve a little space - the L’occitane mini is perfect. Oh and for those of you with Trader Joe’s - they have a dupe gift pack for the holidays. The lotion works just as well and is about $8 for 3 vs $12 for 1.

I’ll follow up with a couple more angles on the bag.
