I bought a regular Oak Antony yesterday from the Mulberry shop at Heathrow, terminal 3. It was GBP 291.67, that is 58.33 = approximately 17% saved. They had quite a large stock but not everything on display. I wanted to compare the Antony to the small Bryn (way too small!) and had to ask for it. They had lots of stock behind the counter, so it might be worth asking for bags you don't see on display!

Hello,

Just looking for a bit of advice please.

I'm planning to buy a bag when I fly out of Heathrow but I'm flying outside the EU.
I was looking forward to have the box and all the lovely packaging with it, but it will be too bulky to put in my suitcase.
Has anyone been stung on tax either at their destination country or on the way back through Heathrow? Or any other advice?

Thanks ladies! X

mulberry give the discount to all customers in LHR, regardless if they travel in or outside the EU. If you fly outside the EU you need to take your purchase with you. mulberry regard it as a price reduction since also EU travellers can buy the bags cheaper. It's not a true VAT free purchase.
You will not get checked in your destination as its not your residence. There is Customs when you return, but the chance of being stopped is minimal.

If it helps, the boxes fold flat. There's grey ribbon inside, just pull & viola!
Or, simply ask for flat box @ purchase.
