In her post Toni mentions new parent AHQ. I'm reluctant to jump to any happy conclusions without more information, but it appears that HH has been rescued from the clutches of J. Silverman. This move would go a long way toward explaining the sell-off of inventory and the silence from CS in the past weeks/months.

Agree, and without pertinent facts, we can hope this is true and Silverdude figured out that HH is not a made to pre order business like his other knockoffs. Perhaps he was just after a tax write off, as it is clear he never gave a ratsa$$ about the loyal fanbase he proclaimed in the 'about us" page, which mysteriously gives no clue about himself.
Toni could design and produce on the moon, and we'd be right there, for her.
Let us hope it was a sale and that JS is no longer lurking in the shadows

Oh I hope not Sally.

btw was anyone here the first buyer of that Malinka backpack on ebay? It's tempting but I know it was sold and relisted. That fabric is very unforgiving with stains so I should probably ignore it but still.

Sorry! Late to the party-- it was me that purchased the Malinka the first time it was listed. The condition was not at all as listed (which was supposedly "used less than five times, excellent condition")-- the outside fabric was very faded, there were some stains/dirt around the pockets and the top handle, there was a small rip near the top magnet (under the top flap), and the whole bag smelled of stale cigarette. And, while seller gave me no hassel about return and a refund, I was stuck paying the return shipping.

I see it is now listed for $25 +/-. I suppose it is worth that price if you can overlook what I've described.

As for me-- I purchased the other Malinka that was listed (the one with the saddle leather); I love the blue/purple print more than the white floral but prefer a bag in better condition.

Hire this woman for investigative purposes!!!:ninja::tup:

I am happy to see that HH seems to be going through another (hopefully) forward transition. I love Toni's designs, but I am still left with a sting from Mr. Silverman. I bought into the last overhaul and was burned again. I wish HH the very best and will wait with cautious optimism.

Wasn't me - I contemplated it though. Fondled my caffe pallenberg and my saffron pallenberg duffle (the toddler sized one) and then decided that I shouldn't be greedy and that the pallenbergian effect should be spread around. Didn't stop me from looking at it a lot! But I'm glad someone bought it!
