Met some well known politicians and one of their well known wives. One very high level former politician lives in my neighborhood and we see him all the time. Met Rob Lowe. Met Paul Lynde at one of those plays in the 70's. (That's also how Rob Lowe got interested in acting). Ohio.

Many that I saw while out and about living in LA in the 90's.

Since I shared here, lots lol! Still have met and know more than few pro athletes/coaches and college coaches, my area is an area where a lot of them choose to love and we attend a lot of events. But have also met quite a few celebs that are country stars and some lesser knowns like a famous podcaster, and a previous Governor. Have also met some veterans whom movies have been made about, these are my personal favorite meetings.

Years ago I worked with a woman who used to hang with his crowd when he as a young man (I believe in Michigan?) His real name was something like Dino Martini, she told us.
Ohio. Birth name in 1917 was Dino Paul Crocetti. Father was Italian immigrant, mother was first generation Italian-American. Didn't speak English until he started school age 6 (no kindergarten in those days) so his lyrics sung in Italian are authentic. Dino Martini was his original professional name but singer Nino Martini was becoming famous so Dino Martini became Dean Martin.

A bio called Living High In The Dirty Business of Dreams by Nick Tosches is a very sad read but it sheds a lot of light. The private Dino had nothing in common with his public persona. Relationships with three wives and eight children were superficial, except for son Dino Jr.

My dad was born in 1921 to Finnish immigrants in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He did not speak English until he started school age 6. Very common with that generation.

mine are more sightings than meetings

Jackson Browne in his dressing room eating a sandwich
Glen Frey on the street in NY
Frank Gifford
Billy Crystal
Hal Linden
Frankie Valli shopping
Al Pacino filming Dog Day Afternoon
Faye Dunaway at an after-party for Peter Wolfe's band J. Geils when she was married to him
saw Mick Jagger backstage at a concert
You had me at Jackson Browne, Glen Frey, J Geils and Peter Wolfe (sigh)!!!♥️♥️♥️

Jackson Brown was my favorite....him and Bruce Springsteen. I did see Bruce at a nightclub performance. that was sublime
A girlfiend's sister worked for the manager of J Geils and Frampton....that's how we were backstage when we saw Jagger. and also the event where we saw Faye Dunaway.

^ My Dad claims he met Bruce Springsteen at a Wawa in the Pine Barrens. Don't know if he was pulling my leg, but it's the most New Jersey sentence I've ever heard. 😂

Me? Uh... I met Veronica Taylor (the original English voice of Ash Ketchum) at New York Comic Con/Anime Festival when I was like 13, does that count? She spoke to me in the Ash voice, and I still have the autograph she gave me.

Yeah sorry that's my contribution to this thread. I have face-blindness so I wouldn't recognize 99.9% of famous people if they bumped right into me lol.

Hung out with Brian Johnson of AC/DC *one of my fav bands growing up* and his wife at Daytona prior to the 24 hour race. He was racing in that race, my DH was racing in the 2.5 hour the day before. Talked lots about racing...super fun.

Excited to go see them in concert this AM!

Also got really close to Patrick Dempsey at Watkins Glen one race (we were on foot, not wheel-to-wheel).

This is all back when I worked in TV. I’ve hung that career up years ago plus my memory sucks so there’s a lot I’m sure I’ve forgotten. Most of these celebs I was near or close to but didn’t speak to except for maybe a few:

Ryan Seacreast (Way before he was famous. He was doing promos for AI)
Britney Spears (way before she was uber famous when I was in my 20s working at a well known nightclub and she was performing)
Carmen Electra
Bon Jovi
Joan Rivers (loved her! Died inside when she said hi to little old me)
Kris Jenner
Josie Maran
Designers

Pro athletes thru the years but it’s been a long time. I don’t like going out anymore & I hate ppl lol

Lol. I have heard that Bruce rides a motorcycle so there is a chance that he could come in contact with some people that way as well.

And my machine, she's a dud, out stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of Jersey"
