Yes. LV monogram print. I told my Sa a couple of times I wasn't going to buy anything in this print and I was good for a couple of decades and boom I fell in love with a couple of styles. But I know where to draw the line for my personal tastes.

My Loewe T-pouch; I'm not at all a clutch person but I had to have it when I saw the painting. It is just so cheery and each one is slightly different and unique.

I still definitely reach for it but rarely; it's more of an art piece that I'm happy to have in my collection.

Symbol of hope in the morning and living your dreams in the evening :ps:

Of course! Life is too short to be practical all the time. But. You have to love them beyond practical considerations. Here are two of mine. Every time i look at them, I smile. Every time I wear them, I feel so fabulous

note: given that I only carry an iPhone, a card case, a single key on a lanyard, a mini bottle of hand sanitizer; and occasionally, in the summer, a valextra sunglass case, a mini bag like the Evelyn TPM is the most practical for me. These larger, heavier structured bags, no shoulder or cross body strap, are pure indulgence.

You look fabulous too, these are very special

Yes. I’ve learned that if I buy a bag that cannot be worn as a crossbody, I won’t use it at all. I’ve also learned to just buy the bag that I really want instead of getting something similar because I will end up buying the one I wanted in the first place.

Me too!

For me there's no such thing as a dupe bag.

The heart says yes, but the mind says no.

Have you ever loved the look of a bag so much that you bought it knowing that it is probably too small for you, or too impractical?

Once the novelty wore off, did you end up finding it annoying?
Do you still use it?

I'm trying to talk myself into/out of buy a bag that is smaller than I'm used to and closes with only a magnet (and not even the kind that clicks into place): the Jacquemus Grand Bambino

I purchased a Burberry pocket bag a couple years ago because it looked so cute. I’ve never used it, have thought about donating it to a charity auction (but couldn’t bring myself to do it), and now just look at it when I go through my bags. I still love the style and I can’t say I regret buying it… but I don’t use it. The tags are still on it. I offered it to my daughter, but she said it was too small to fit her stuff! All that to say that I probably should have chosen something else.
