For a lot of us, Peanuts is a HUGE part of our childhood and we
lived with those characters when we were growing up. The Peanuts Christmas Special still gets broadcast every year even though it was first shown more than 50 years ago - and THAT fact will make my generation feel old if nothing else does! In college, Snoopy and his doghouse were on half the walls and doors in our dorm, and one of our crowd regulary wore a Snoopy-style World War I leather flying helmet. so those characters bring back a lot of memories.
No matter how old you are or whether you remember the Fonz and the shark, you're never too old to have a little fun. Two of my favorite knocking around/ running errands shirts are an adorable tunic with a big Tweety on the front, and a great Disney striped baseball tunic with Grumpy and his name appliqued on the back. They always get a smile and a few comments from the people around me, and they're just plain fun to wear. The Grumpy shirt was a gift from my co-workers at my last job and it's also a good reminder to not take things too seriously.
