For a lot of us, Peanuts is a HUGE part of our childhood and we lived with those characters when we were growing up. The Peanuts Christmas Special still gets broadcast every year even though it was first shown more than 50 years ago - and THAT fact will make my generation feel old if nothing else does! In college, Snoopy and his doghouse were on half the walls and doors in our dorm, and one of our crowd regulary wore a Snoopy-style World War I leather flying helmet. so those characters bring back a lot of memories.

No matter how old you are or whether you remember the Fonz and the shark, you're never too old to have a little fun. Two of my favorite knocking around/ running errands shirts are an adorable tunic with a big Tweety on the front, and a great Disney striped baseball tunic with Grumpy and his name appliqued on the back. They always get a smile and a few comments from the people around me, and they're just plain fun to wear. The Grumpy shirt was a gift from my co-workers at my last job and it's also a good reminder to not take things too seriously. :D
 Well said !

I find the Snoopy releases so adorable. I don't buy a ton of Coach.. About 1 to 2 bags a year. But I still love the brand. I wish they did this kind of thing more often. I missed out on the first release last year so I made sure I ordered something this time.

I was reading some Facebook comments about this release.. Such harsh comments.. Some people are so upset about it.. Just don't buy it..
Some people are just mean and I stop reading the FB comments....glad you got something!

Amen to this Hyacinth! I'd love to have a Grumpy t-shirt!
And it's hard to imagine anyone not loving Peanuts!

Exactly, my 14yo wanted a Disney bag recently.....it was by Vera Bradley but same type of thing really. Very busy and would appeal to the younger crowd.

When we get to be a certain age we like to think we're a bit more 'sophisticated' in our design tastes, right? I do like how Coach has approached it and think it's fun. I can see these becoming very collectible in a few years for those who don't buy them now.

Yes. Seems the younger the age the more busy they like it. I am a bit more streamlined and simple. I prefer that easy yet elegant carefree kind of look where all my things just kind of go together. Whether I am wearing jeans and a tee shirt - a summer dress or matching althetoc gear. Lol. Peanuts is one of my fav cartoons. I love a really nice less busy with just a hint of "oh there's Woodstock" somewhere not so in your face. Lol.

Not a collection that appeals to me but they can't all be winners. My main issue with Coach lately has been their quick turnaround with high priced bags that don't have the same quality Coach used to offer. That said, if they did a Coach x The Simpsons collection I would buy every piece.

I'd seriously die if they did Winnie the Pooh! get me an Eeyore on a bag and i am sold!!

Yes! I would love a Winnie the Pooh collection! I would love anything Disney, really, but especially Pooh!

I didn't grow up with Peanuts (I'm only 21, though I did grow up watching the Peanuts specials and still love them), but my mom sure did. She even played Peppermint Patty in a high school play. Peanuts will always be sentimental to her because of it, and I always think of my mom when I think of Peanuts.

Personally, I think it's great Coach did a collection with Peanuts!

I didn't either... that said i love the characters and my kids i got them into it lol

Definitely. There's Hello Kitty stuff at ALL price points.

I picked up a Steiff Hello Kitty 40th anniversity stuff animal for way too much, just because I love Hello Kitty - my oldest thought I was insane for spending that much on a stuffed animal

If Coach did a Hello Kitty purse I would be all over it
