I was first a bit careful as well, especially since they are US based and I am in Europe, but I can't complain, I had one return and while their replies were not always punctual, the experience was seriously good

wondering how peoples recent experience has been with italist? im close to ordering something that i'm pretty sure ill keep but they dont really say what their return fee is? does anyone know?

please share any recent experiences!

So glad to have found this thread active! Italist has my Pinko! in greater availability and better pricing than the brand website or FarFetch (though FF does run great sales frequently). I’ve seen the Italist moniker sell on Poshmark as well; curiously large Poshmark inventory for there to be zero connection. ‍♀️

I purchased a wallet for my hubby around Black Friday last year without any issues and am in the USA. I do worry about issues though and getting a refund of the duties since I don't believe they will usually refund duties. I saw a YouTube video a few months ago from Handbag Housewife where her Fendi Baguette from Italist was incorrectly packaged and the bag arrived damaged. She did get a full refund including duties but I think she had to repeatedly follow up and had filmed the unboxing. I think the concern about being refunded duties applies to all companies who don't include taxes and duties in the purchase price including companies who aren't working with multiple boutiques like Selfridges.

I have purchased two handbags from there, and they arrived within a week and were authentic and new.
I now scour the site every few days to see their new offerings!
I haven't had to return anything yet though, so I'm not sure how troublesome that is or isn't.

Just made a purchase for a pair of boots this past Sunday 9/10 and they arrived today from Italy->Germany->US via DHL, clearing customs quickly. They arrived today this afternoon 9/14 brand new in box with no issues. Will purchase from them again.

That is one things I researched before placing a buy on the boots was ensuring that sizing was correct. I had read in several places that a return back to EU with custom fees, duties, taxes, and shipping costs has ran some folks up to over a $100+ or more.

Reviving this thread and seeing if there are any additonal thoughts on italist. I’m seeing an adorable Chloe bag I would love to purchase for 40% less on italist versus Neimans. Want to be sure the bag is authentic.

I ordered Gianvitto Rossi pumps from them a few months ago as the ones I ordered elsewhere were too big. They were authentic for sure as I had both pairs at the same time for a few days.
