*** i meant they have:
yellow gold + diamond
Yellow gold + platinum + diamond
I think there may be one i think with the double halo of just platinum

Update: I saw these in person and they are nothing short of amazing. My girlfriend wants a 1/2 carat or so bezet ring as her engagement ring. When I graduate she will get one if she hasn't changed her mind.

I was surprised. The "entry level" rings look respectably substantial. The yellow gold bezet setting makes the stone look even larger. I'm getting less into Tiffany but you have to see these in person for yourself. I do think the ads portray the stones accurately in terms of cut and saturation. Ah, to browse.

Yes she does want the solid yellow gold shank and thankfully it's the less expensive option. She made it clear she wants a cushion shape. I didn't mean to excite you though :shucks: because this is years down the line. She has a promise ring in a 6-prong setting that's almost 3/4 of a carat. She has small hands so this works.

Am obsessing over having one - as you can tell from my avatar I'm a sunshine lover and they look like little bits of sunshine you can wear!!! I think I want a pendant. SO PRETTY!

Thank you honeybeez! :blushing: :hugs:

Yes!! Me too!! Once I sent my eyes on a drop of liquid sun shaped into a modified brilliant cushion cut, I knew I couldn't look at anything else! LOL

The entire line is gorgeous! The gold bezet rings are wonderful and look great stacked, but again, would make a wonderful e-ring! I tried one on and the yellow gold really enhances the richness of the yellow diamond! I love this collection :love:

Info for those interested!
Tiffany Sola - .40 F.V. - $6400, .39 F.I. - $6050, .41 F.I. - $6200 and the fancy yellow - .67 $9350

The kind SA didn't have any sola rings in his store - just the pendant. However he had a yellow diamond ring with the 1 row (not the double row like the sola) around the center diamond. He didn't care for the 1 row at all. You can see picture of it on Tiffany's site if you search yellow diamond. He also said that there are not as many fancy yellows as there are fancy vivids and fancy intense. I asked why and he said because the fancy yellows sell as soon as they come in!

I did not know they had a single halo sola ring!!! I've seen the pendant with the single row with a .30 center and those look teeny-tiny. It's a little bit irritating how hard it is to get your hands on a FY. . .the SAs say it's because they are the "intro" priced rings and therefore are selling like mad! There aren't that many to begin with either =(

I also posted some prices in this thread (though many of them had been sold already by the time I bought last Saturday): http://forum.purseblog.com/the-jewelry-box/tiffany-sola-yellow-diamond-ring-650519.html

I can't wait to try these on when I go back to the States in 2 weeks! I'd love the bezet ring. However, I don't know what ring finger to wear any more rings on! I'm over capacity as it is!

I just emailed David at diamondsbylauren.com regarding this stone + bezet style setting! Hope the price I get back isn't too high!

I was looking at diamondsbylauren - I forgot who but someone in the other thread recommended them to me. They have really nice designs and are much more reasonably priced than Tiffany :D
